Stone’s 20th Anniversary Citracado IPA (Picked up at Trader Joe’s). A 4 of 4. Lots of citrus, lots of sweetness, and quite a bit of alcohol warmth in the finish. While it is pretty dominantly tropical and citrus in the nose, the body has quite a bit of resinous bitterness to it, which is partially cut by definite candy-like honey sweetness and some other sticky bready malt character. Not the easiest to drink a ton of, but this is a great “big” IPA, which is fitting, given that is what Stone does best.
