New Belgium’s Citradelic Exotic Lime Ale (Picked up at Ralph’s in San Diego). A 2 of 4. Loved the Citradelic with tangerine, but can’t say I love this. The lime presence is very powerful in this -- the malt bill is incredibly light and has a cracker sweetness quality to it that is nearly completely dominated by the lime and acidity. It’s weird to me they call this Citradelic as well, as it is a completely different beer and could lead to some confusion. If you pick this up expecting something shandy-like, this is not bad. If you pick this up expecting a brother/cousin to the tangerine version, you’ll be disappointed.
