I have already gotten a lot of compliments on it. I love wearing it during this chilly winter nights here in LA (although it's like 80 degrees right now). I'm sorry this took me so long to post this. Apparently, it WASN'T the problem, though damned if I understand what was! Something about the phone box. BUT, point being: after a harrowing hour (and an irritating two days) I have internet at home again! YAY.

A long time ago, when I was really new to Dragon Age, flutie pointed me in the direction of the k!meme and said have fun! I found a short, glorious fic that was abandoned (but still lovely) that featured Bethany/Alistair, and I've wanted to write something involving the two of them ever since.

I think so, too--maybe not an exact Merrill, but something in the name of preserving/recovering the old ways in her youth which was distinctly Merrill-like. But Marethari's an old, old woman; Flemeth really knows how to bide her time to cash in a favor, eh?

Like Jade, I suspect that eleven-year-old me would have asked to be in Ravenclaw if I'd been given the choice. Still, I've never been able to shake the sense that to be Gryffindor would be something wonderful.

At the risk of irony considering who tagged me wink wink, I love citrus scents. Oranges, lemons, even grapefruit; I will take buckets of those over any kind of floral any day.

I've never met a muffin I loved, but I've known many I liked. Blueberry's a pretty safe classic, I think.

6. Can you cook? What’s the last thing you made?

No. Yes. Kind of. I am perfectly capable of following a recipe and producing something perfectly edible. The occasions on which I choose to do that, though, number in the single digits per month. I despise spending time in the kitchen if I don't have to, and will happily spend $6 three or four times a week to pay someone else to make that food for me. I don't even mind doing dishes; it's just the physical act of buying chicken, unwrapping the chicken, thawing the chicken, cooking the chicken, spicing the chicken, moving the chicken from the pan to the plate, cooking the sides, moving the sides from their dishes to the plate, taking the plate out, and then eating it. Bleh. Baking will never be one of my hobbies.

Living at home, therefore, is providing me more real food than I know what to do with. I can't even catch up on the leftovers because Mom makes new meals every single night. Madness!

7. What brand of toilet paper do you use?

I absolutely loathe cheap toilet paper. I buy Charmin ultra-soft in the 24-pack, or whichever size is most awkward to carry out to my car.

8. Sunflowers or carnations?

I've never truthfully been fond of either. Carnations make me think of weird sugary celebrations of babies, though, so if I had to pick one I'd go with sunflowers.

9. Are you ticklish?

A little bit. I used to be really ticklish on the soles of my feet, though that's waned with the passing of years. That's probably still where I'm most ticklish, though.

10. If you came with a warning label, what would be on it?

WARNING: low-maintenance friendship requires 1-2 hours of solitude per day. Subject rarely initiates social activities due to crippling insecurity over value of friendship, but is generally pleased to be invited to most small, intimate events. Subject tends towards inconvenient apprehension in large, crowded areas with sole exception of football stadiums, but has extraordinarily high tolerance for repetition of small, mind-numbing tasks and is quite capable of sitting in one place for hours on end should events require. Verbal communication often astonishingly inadequate in comparison to written communication. Chronically tardy; chronically impatient. Subject will commit acts of violence if forcibly kept from puppies. Affection for fictional elves borders on dangerous.

22. Do you find your left knee or your right knee more attractive?

My left knee has a small scar from where I took a tumble onto my parents' brick hearth when I was about twelve, so I'd say that knee's the more rakish. Though we'd better keep that quiet; don't want them to think I'm playing favorites.
