I started a fundraiser!
Hey guys! I just wanted to let y'all know that I have started a small fundraiser for CityHeART for their Long Beach Gives campaign!
CityHeART is a small non-profit based in my hometown of Long Beach, California that provides meals, basic necessities, resource navigation, and art programs for homeless/home insecure families and veterans. It's a cause that I feel strongly about, and as a former intern there, and can say that the people there genuinely do amazing work. Many of the volunteers are veterans themselves and sincerely want to help lift the community.
California is known to having some of the highest expenses of living in the United States, giving way to rising numbers of homelessness and food insecurity, so it's important that non-profits like CityHeART have the money and resources to keep providing for our most vulnerable population.
If you guys want to support this cause, I would honestly appreciate it more than any commission. If you like my art, consider donating as a form of gratitude towards what I do. Fundraising ends on September 23.
