Humanity is not enough for Seraph. Slowly purging away the flesh from themself, striving to achieve something greater with high technology, possibly a time-traveler too, they're a very interesting character, so... we had to draw a portrait of them.

Today's fanart was created for us by @cjcraziness, and it's absolutely fantastic!

It was drawn traditionally, and we can't help but appreciate the attention to detail. The artist has managed to demonstrate the fundamental fact that Sangreal, despite looking like a person, is actually a fish… a fish whose species, through a long period of adaptation, has managed to mimic the anthropomorphic form, to instill a little pity in the hearts of intelligent predators, or fear in other creatures, not to mention the advantage of having opposable thumbs! (Although, unfortunately for them, pistrix's dexterity isn't as refined as humans'.)

Look at his sparkling eyes! Wouldn't you like to throw some flake food to this adorable little fish (who, oh well… is several meters long, more of a big fish)?

Sangreal loves flake food. Or dried shrimp. Do you have any dried shrimp?

I love your the Dragon Prince fanart. Like you draw both Aavaros and Viren so well. They're so pretty and also hilarious. I just thought I'd say I appreciate your art. :) It always makes me smile or laugh.

I'm glad you and other shippers are still on board with the ship although Aaravos and Viren haven't spoken to each other in *checks notes* 3 years in real time... Everything about Viravos is so appealing to my toxic sludge taste and they are both cute as hell too.

It's a depiction of Rosas, with Seras Alkahest's tentacles surrounding him.

Seras's tentacles are one of her most prominent features, the thing that most sticks in the minds of those who interact with her. And Seras herself, with her personality, is well represented by them, by the way she touches everything, holds everything, possesses everything.

The artist asks: "Just how interesting (dangerous) is it to be a favourite "Moray" of the Sea Witch Seras, I wonder? And should he be more worried about that than his next fashionable outfit?"

And the answer is… it depends. Is it worth living with anxiety over something you can't avoid? If Seras decided to harm him, transform him, discard him, or destroy him… what could Rosas do to defend himself?

Perhaps Rosas's "madness" is what allows him to enjoy what's happened to him, even though it's something absolutely dangerous. Those tentacles offering him food, beautiful clothes, and wonderful objects are a trap, but it's uncertain whether they'll one day close in on him and crush him.

And until then… as Nightwish say, "Beware the beast, but enjoy the feast he" (in this case, she) "offers."
