Donna/CJ for the crackship/non canon ship game (because I’ve been thinking about them)

Okay this took a second because, full disclosure, I always struggle with Donna in femslash ships, especially CJ and Amy kinda, just because especially next to them that woman just feels so Painfully straight to me? But anything can work. Any femslash ship can work on this blog. It's like a rule.

And of course they could.

"criminal mind equal to my own" and she goes to Donnatella, partner in crime when it comes to breaking ceramic cat statues? It's beautiful. I wish we'd had more scenes with just the two of them, and just generally more like, mentorship, too? Especially when Donna becomes the spokesperson to the Russel campaign, like !! that IS the job CJ had on the Bartlet campaign, it's so good, and nothing's really done with it and that's just such a shame.

But, particularly, for the sake of, when to fit this into the canon timeline... Season 5, episode 20, No Exit. When Donna's in that gorgeous dress and CJ is in her camping gear that makes her look like such a dyke (affectionate as fuck) and they're talking about the man CJ doesn't want to go camping with but kinda feels she ought to but loves to take the excuse not to see, and the man Donna should not want to be working for anymore and just !! If there was ever a moment Donna and CJ could and should have made out? That was it. (And then, if you drag it out, the fact that's their last conversation before Donna's off to Gaza and almost dies? And if you add in CJ/Andy, too, Donna, the woman CJ just encouraged to go here and also totally hooked up with, in Gaza with CJ's ex girlfriend, where she almost dies? The ANGST of it, when no one knows about that, obviously, and it's a whole Thing she can't even talk about and?? I need it actually.)
