The West Wing: Femslash February!
In order to celebrate Femslash February 2026 and in a hopeful attempt at providing inspiration and a fun gateway into the many potential sapphic ships in this fandom, I’ve created daily prompts and some inspiration for different relationship dynamics for any and all TWW femslash ships!
There’s a list of prompts, a list of potential relationship dynamics (thank you so much @jessbakescakes for the suggestion), and under the cut I’ve added a list of any slightly noteworthy female character in the show, just to freshen up your memory and maybe provide a chance to really dive into the niche potential of some seemingly random pairings! Below the cut are also text versions of the prompt list and the dynamics, for easier reading and copying.

The rules are very simple:
The prompts are completely optional. They’re there for inspiration and for guidance to those people who do best with a prompt, but you are welcome and encouraged to tag the blog or ‘tww femslash’ in anything you make and share about any femslash ship in February. You do not have to follow the prompts if you don’t want to.
On that note, obviously so are the dynamics. That list is only there because so many women in the show don’t even speak to each other on screen, so it can be hard to think about what different relationships between them might look like. It’s for inspiration if you want it, that’s all.
This is open to any femslash ship, no matter how niche a combination it might be.
Original characters in ships are more than welcome! Especially for characters like Deanna, Annie, or Molly Wyatt-Ziegler, there’s not really a canon character close in age anyway, but for anyone, OC’s are great.
Any form of content is happily accepted! It’s not just for fic: you can share moodboards, fan art, gif sets, meta posts, and even ‘just’ fun smaller text posts with headcanons and thoughts about the femslash pairing of your choice.
Anything’s allowed, no matter how sexual or how heavy, but make sure your warnings and ratings are accurate and present. No one likes being surprised by something they’d really wanted to avoid.
The only exception is: absolutely no gen ai.
Absolutely no bashing of any ships or headcanons! There’s no need to like everything, but don’t be rude about it.
While the focus is on ships, if you really want to talk about a gen dynamic focused on being sapphic, that’s allowed too! (For example, CJ realising she’s attracted to women and talking about that with a friend, would be allowed, even if you don’t make explicit mention of a ship.) I know that might feel like it goes against the spirit of Femslash February, but it’s a relatively small fandom with a small femslash community, so I want to give any type of sapphic ideas a chance!
In order to participate, you can simply tag this blog in any post you make linking to a fic or containing a moodboard/a meta post/art/headcanons/etc. In addition, you can also use the tag ‘tww femslash’ in your posts, and I’ll see it!
