Finalize Any Outstanding Drawings of Taxonomy of Gridshell Design Strategies:

Formalize + Finalize all Diagrams + Drawings of your Taxonomy, including the Simulated Tests of each.

Utilize Color, Labels, etc. to Communicate Important Features + Properties.

Continue Develop a “Sited” Gridshell Simulation Vignettes:

Using a 40’x30’ Boundary, Develop a Simulated Vignette of a Gridshell.

Focus on utilizing Simple Primitives as the Input Geometry and implementing your Documented Design Strategies.

Capture the Vignettes via Drawings and Diagrams (no Screengrabs).

Utilize Color, Labels, etc. to Communicate Important Features + Properties.

Create Two Gridshell Models at 1" = 1' Scale using Batten Creation and Coordinated Unrolling Techniques reviewed in class:

Using Bristol Board, first develop, cut, and assemble a prototype (a portion) of your Gridshell Vignette

Focusing on Craft, Best Practices for Sequence of Assembly, and Part Management.  

***Be sure to plot and mount your corresponding anchor condition on a foamcore or similar base.

Using Bristol Board, develop, cut, and assemble the full Gridshell Vignette, using above prototype as reference for necessary adjustments.
