So far, ENA's made little progress on her mission to find the Boss. When she asks other entities, they assume she's talking about their bosses, and not the Boss that everyone should know.

She hasn't found the smoke-covered island where he's supposed to be hiding, either, though there's plenty of smoke (or "mist," as they call it) keeping her from searching this world as a whole.

And ENA knows that where there's smoke, there are Genies that can drive it away. All she needs to do is find the right Genie, and pray that they grant her an aspiration.

Through a lot more sleuthing and snooping — and the word might've gone around about the two-faced woman looking for them — she finally tracks down the entity that she hopes can make her dreams come true.

"And there you are! I have to say, you're a difficult one to locate," says the salesperson.

"Let's cut the chit-chat already and make with the smoke dispelling!" says her other side.

     working the magic mirror ( telephone ) long enough to respond back to indigo's message had taken callum... far longer than he would like to admit. a lot of fiddling, even going so far as to ask a passerby for help. and yet, he had done it eventually, and now he found himself sat at the café they'd agreed to meet at. the invitation had... surprised the tiefling, to say the least. after their team-up when the land had turned sugary, callum hadn't expected the sudden stranger to ever turn up again.

     but he was proven wrong when he looked up to see the other slide into the booth across from him, tell-tale easy smile on their lips.

     ❝ Hello. ❞ a greeting, embellished with the menu slid across the table towards them. ❝ I didn't know what you wanted. ❞

"Surprise and happy Valentine's day, babe!" Indigo is dressed very nicely. Sporting a red tuxedo with white hearts on them and some black dress pants. The lights are off at their home, but the candles are lit, creating an ambience and romantic feel to it. The table is larger than usual and there's a wide variety spread of different food. All of which are Marcille's favorite! No monster meat involved. There's a flower centerpiece placed at the center of the table as well as a Decent sized box. In the box, marcille will find an assortment of different chocolates and in the center, a smaller box. A necklace with a charm on it. It's Indigo's family emblem.

What does it mean?

✲ "Oh!? Is it Valentine's Day!?" Marcille lied through her teeth. She obviously knew what day it was, but she had also been preparing things in secret. She had actually gotten all prettied up in an elven dress, but she hadn't expected all of the mood lighten and for Indigo to also have gotten dressed up. Her own lie was transparent, namely because she never dressed up for no good reason. She'd even done her hair up in a braided bun!

She opened the box and checked out the chocolates, and then the necklace underneath. "Oh! It's so cute! But what does this charm mean, exactly?"

Marcille offered them a box of her own. Inside was a dozen cookies she had baked herself, along with a note. "Oh, that's an IOU. Don't think I'm cheap, but I wanted to get you a earring or a navel ring or... something! I just wasn't sure what you'd like more, and I wanted to pick it out together!"

Eiden puts the phone aside on the sofa he's still laying on. He's trying to not look around too much or else he's going to get a headache. He'd thought he'd get to it - cleaning the place, doing bare minimum for the time being but somehow it didn't work out. He doesn't really want to move if he's all honest.

All he's really managed to do was to get himself to dress himself up, if a little lazily. Eiden puts his hand on his face and sighs, he can't believe himself. Sure he could just wait for few more hours and it'd be fine but honestly he's worried that someone will drop in unannounced.

" And to think this is what I'm using such a huge benevolent wish for huh.... "

Mary Sue sits up sleepily in her bed, blinking away her drowsiness as she looks out the window.

Aww, I wish breakfast was ready already.

The next second her surroundings shifted before she was sitting magically at a kitchen table in front of a tasty breakfast spread.

"W-wha? Who? Uwehhh?"

Huh, was that Indigo in front of her?

for someone who's never legally owned a car (he's rented them out a few times, okay? he wouldn't steal a whole ass vehicle), yuri's already quite the pro. drifting, swerving, slamming on the gas... he's got all the important stuff down! going fast comes naturally to him, he supposes, so signing up for a high-octane race with his equally-reckless friend was a no-brainer! doubly so knowing there aren't any street laws holding him back.

he almost feels bad for the poor folks going up against them. almost.

hopping into the driver's seat (dibs!) of their decked-out go-kart, yuri tilts his head invitingly for indigo to crawl in the back, excitement creeping into his tone, "your highly-weaponized chariot awaits! you remember what all the wacky knobs and levers do, don't you?" he sure doesn't! but as long as it sparks a bit of chaos for their opponents, who cares?

"This is a more exhilarating way of spending my morning than I usually follow!" Kyrie admitted cheerfully as they jogged alongside their new acquaintance, Indigo. They weren't really dressed for the exercise, but they never planned for their powerful encounter amidst the smell of incense to sweep them along into it.

"Thanks for letting me come along with you! Do you usually do this alone?"

"Ain't it great?" He sighs happily as he holds up the fresh pack of cigarettes toward the sky - as though the angel of nicotine itself had flown down to slap him in the face.

Leaning against the wooden cross that he'd propped up, he peels the golden line of plastic from around it. "Damn, and freshly sealed too. Nothing like findin' someone's half-used smokes from ten years ago."

The flick of a lighter, and he sighs happily.

"Man, talk about living in luxury, huh?" He finally turns to the other person who had walked out of the store, like a mad man who'd just discovered some kind of buried treasure and needed to tell someone else.
