Scott The Father
That night with Carmen changed everything. After a few months of dating, I asked her to marry me. She only said yes if I can do whatever's necessary to help her feel comfortable about her changing body during the pregnancy. Which I have by only arranging a courthouse ceremony until after she had the baby, and by doing all possible research on what will keep her in good spirits. This hasn't been hard for me at all. Carmen looks as lovely as ever even with the growing baby bump. In fact with her being due any day now, I'll do whatever I can to make sure her labor goes without a hitch.
"Scott. I need to tell you something."
"Is it time?"
"Yes. It is."
I wait for her to finish.
"I need your big tip to satisfy me."
"Of course honey. I've heard this will get you ready to launch."

Which movie was Elvis's favorite among his own?
Graceland's trophy room. July 7, 1972. Excerpt from the book "Elvis, Linda and Me" by Jeanne LeMay Dumas (2006).
King Creole (1958): Often mentioned as Elvis' personal favorite final product.
Clambake (1967): Elvis' favorite movie production, according to Jeanne LeMay.
I think it is time to change my current tumblr name to something Elvis-themed. Hmm...
Charro! related or Clambake related?
Decisions, decisions.
I will come up with a list of possibilities and would appreciate any feedback!
It's been on my mind a lot lately, but I really want to know more about Elvis' concussion recovery. Like, how long did it last? What symptoms did he experience? Was it mild or more severe? Was he still struggling when he went back to finish filming? Were there any long-term effects that lingered and /or worried him?
Did he do what he always does and push through regardless?
The brain is such an unpredictable, sensitive thing. Having both suffered a more severe (but still mild) concussion that lasted only a few months to this current mild to moderate one that is taking FOREVER to heal, I can't stop thinking about what Elvis went through back then.
I do understand, however, how much easier it is to be quiet and compliant when your brain is rattled and you're swimming in brain fog. Poor Elvi😢
*blows kiss to the sky* i’m sorry elvis but i unfortunately really do love clambake
