Moon 0 | Catastrophe

The camp had bern upwind of the fire, set down in a hollow where no cat had much of a chance to take note. Honeyfoot had panicked- of course he had, everyone had taken to shouting and fretting- and nobody had wasted the time it would have taken to organise.

He’d grabbed Phloxkit and run out onto the plains- trying not to fall behind or be trampled, knowing he could meet up with the others once the danger had passed. She didn’t protest for long, understanding his fear, if not the situation.

But they were exhausted, and the camp had burned so very hot, and Honeyfoot had run till his paws bled, and covered quite the distance. . As rain started to fall, bringing an end to the white-hot terror, and the two cats found some meagre shelter, Honeyfoot promised himself- and Phloxkit- and they’d search for survivors tomorrow.

This comic uses a modified version of the World of Colors challenge from the ClanGen Discord! It's extremely fun and I've played it as-written a few times on my own which is why I'm trying some new stuff here! The changes are as follows:

Using CMYK+White for the starting colors (I'm curious to see how the colors work!)

Hand-picking the colors for cats who join based off of factors such as coat color or name!

Lowered odds of multicolored cats. (1 in 6 instead of 1 in 3)

Not using optional rules.

Changing gradient modes on the provided website depending on the colors being mixed.

I'm allowing myself to use the red circled squares in the Clip Studio Paint intermediate color palette in my designs for patterns so that the cats are more distinct! However their base color MUST be their actual rolled color. The opposing corner of the palette will always be purple because... I like purple.

And here are my CLANGEN Settings:

I will be trying to keep the clan to at MOST 2 pages of cats, once those 2 pages are full, I will back out of all patrols that invite cats into the clan until the clan goes below that number again.

a ClanGen horror (?) idea for comics and storytellers

A leader who has Dark Forest trait looses their first life and begins to act strange ever since. It seems that the Dark Forest itself is controlling the leader than themselves. And longer it controls, more the leader's appearance changes to unnatural things; ever - bleeding claw wounds, darkening eyes, vomiting blood, breaking bones, twisting limbs, more aggressive/cold/manipulative actions, growing fangs... and the worst part is that other Dark Forest trait having cats are joining the leader one by one. As this mysterious Dark Forest curse spreads, the Clan is split between factions of cursed and safe cats, the question in everyone's minds only grows stronger: Will the Clan be able to fight off whatever is controlling their leader and Clan mates, or is everything over them?
