I love this game. It's beautiful, has solid mechanics, and is really difficult. Aloy is pretty cool and I'm so glad she's a female character that isn't overtly sexualized. But I'm always confused when "descendants of humanity" are not racially diverse or ethnically ambiguous...I feel like it would be nigh impossible to carry that many recessive genes through an entire population. So that's the actual issue--the fact that the clothes are diverse, but the people wearing them aren't.
people aren’t diverse? what? is one of the few games these days that’s plenty diverse, theres white people and plenty of POC in all tribes like two of the matriarchs, the sunking avad, sona, talanah, vala, varl, sylence and many more... i’m pretty sure 60% of npcs are poc and they’re not portrayed in a stereotypical way
and personally i really had that mixing of cultures and genes feeling during the whole game
