*Spoilers for the new Superman movie*
There's a lot of things I love about the new Superman movie but one thing I haven't seen anymore mention is the early reveal of Lex's plan. Like I think less than an hour into the movie when the president of Boravia meets up with Lex and Ultraman gives him a donut. Lex says he wants to have this brand of donuts open in his half of Jarhanpur because the donut tastes good. It's such a small detail that's hard to catch on your first watch but it means so much to me. The one detail, that one line is just *Chief's Kiss*

I watched the movie twice and really heard what he said the second time.
I didnt recognize that the name of the area was jarhanpur, it thought he was like casually talking about "his" half of the city, kind of like how we talk out city's like "our" half, idk i just figured he was doing the usual like "I live here so it's [mine]" yknow?
And then the second time I hear jarhanpur and was like
" OH my god he is talking out his half of the country, that's BRILLIANT"
It is such a great casual little reveal that most people, in including me, glanced over. Loved the move so very much
