Mom and I went with Grandpa to the Walmart in Lilburn to buy gifts for Clark's Christmas Kids. She says it's a charity that helps get foster kids presents for Christmas. Today we bought gifts for four kids. I hope they have a very Merry Christmas. There were a lot of people and @wsbradio was there with some loud speakers. After contact by Twitter, Facebook PM's & email, happy to report @SquareTrade is sending a check for the purchase price of my #Lenovo laptop! This is a big turnaround from that last PM they sent. Thank you Square Trade for finally doing right by me a customer. My laptop should have been fixed right the first time, and shouldn't have necessitated such a drawn out process or the need to escalate things via social media. In the end, they did the right thing and I'm glad for the resolution. . One thing's certain: My husband and I will avoid #Lenovo computers in the future. @tommartino @clarkhoward Help! When doing warranty work including the hinge/display on my #lenovo #IdeaPad #U530, @SquareTrade installed a new display that had debris between the display and the glass. In addition, they sent it back to me with the defective touchpad unrepaired, a loose bezel, plus blue screen hardware errors. . Documented all, sent it back under a new approved claim. They replaced the display with one with even more stuff under the glass (see my earlier Instagram post). I wrote them and included photos and video. . This screenshot is what they replied to me today. They're saying it is cosmetic, yet THEY are the cause! This is not right. I should not have to just ignore this. I do photo and video editing, plus layout and design. I got a top end laptop with a great display for a reason.
