Shoutout to the parents of the kid who saw us in public today, pointed at my vested dog, and announced "THAT! Is a service dog in training!" And DIDN'T try to approach us or distract my dog! THAT is a well-taught and polite child you've got there.

PEOPLE WHO FAKE SERVICE DOGS PISS ME OFF SO MUCH. EVEN IF YOUR PET/EMOTIONAL SUPPORT DOG IS BEHAVING, THEY DONT HAVE PUBLIC ACCESS. THEIR PRESENCE MAY HELP YOU EMOTIONALLY, BUT IF THEY ARENT BEHAVING OR IF THEY ARENT TRAINED TO DO A SPECIFIC TASK, YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW AND PUTTING SERVICE DOGS AT RISK.

"if theyre well behaved, its no different than a service dog" YOU ARE PUTTING UNECISSARY STRESS ON YOUR DOG, PUTTING REAL SERVICE DOG HANDLERS AT RISK, PUTTING ALLERGIC PEOPLE AT RISK, AND CONTAMINATING THE ENVIROMENT YOU ARE IN (like food)

Adventures with my SD prospect and my friends service dog. First big trip out with his muzzle and he did great. Working on ordering a custom one to fit better.

Apparently this dog has a favorite Petco employee haha

Anyway photo drop because I’m so proud of this dog (we went to Petco and even tho he’s had a hit of a hard time with excitement off duty around other dogs, no problems today!)
