Okay gang my art files got *ahem* fucked as some may know but I'm determined to still treat Leaping posting like a job (joking here lol) and I got demands for lore anyways so I'm posting some concepts for Class 1-C students I made in my notes app with their info

Setsuko Kaza - They/Them [Seat No. 4]
Summary: A certified yapper that often loses breath with how fast they run their mouth, which can get Setsuko in trouble due to how their mouth is often faster than their brain. Still, they’re very apologetic as their chatter comes from a place of passion and not malice. Setsuko has a lot of energy but just doesn’t know what to do with it, which leads to animated, occasionally flustered rambling that they can’t stop until it’s too late. While hard to keep up with, Setsuko tries to accommodate since at the end of the day, they love making others feel just as heard as them!
Quirk (Whistle): When whistling with two fingers, the produced sound can reach incredibly high pitches beyond human hearing.
Goal: Start a dog rescue to rehabilitate and shelter strays as they’ve always been able to keep up with the dogs around their neighborhood and their Quirk lends to communicating and tracking down dogs too.
For random notes on Setsuko, I imagine the pads of their fingers are like the activation key to their Quirk and the visual indicator are the lil' swirls! Hence the swirl on the tongue too. I just wanted to make 'em a little less plain! Oh also they're in a canon gossip circle/group chat in 1-C-
Osamu Uehara - He/Him [Seat No. 2]
Summary: Osamu has always been a very studious boy, taking his academics seriously, backed by his family’s emphasis on education and intelligence. He’s often a stick in the mud due to his interests consisting solely of scholarly pursuits but on occasion, he gets as intense as a jock; under the stern stares is a passionate, competitive academic who does it for the love of the game and the love of the game alone. Osamu is earnest in his attempts at excellence. He switches on a dime so without witnesses, literally no one would believe this about Osamu.
Quirk (Paper Power): The user has hair, arms, and legs made of thick paper that can stretch and be folded into various shapes; also can telekinetically manipulate different types of paper.
Goal: Like his family before him, Osamu wants to work in a career involving either education or something that requires great use of the mind, so Osamu wants to be a college professor; preferably literature but he isn’t too picky.
Most characters strive in academics or follow traditions because they're pressured to by their families (neutral observation not a critique) so thought it'd be interesting to subvert for genuine pride and passion! He is so intense my son... oh also I imagine his paper limbs like paper springs or paper accordions hence his capabilities. Based on the protagonist of my video game concept project Art in Everything lol-
Riko Shiraishi - She/He/They [Seat No. 10]
Summary: Other than the high and mighty ego, Riko carries themselves with the perfection and grace of royalty, from her fashion to his speech to their mannerisms. Every move is precise and clean. However, Riko is actually chaotic with fluctuating grades, clumsiness only barely covered by her past in ballet, and a mini hoarder’s backpack. He’s rather embarrassed by this as it’s something they picked up young from her birth parents before being moved to his grandparents’, who have tried to help but can only do so much. Riko often finds it hard to ask for help as a result, easily flustered under the perceived luster. Still, he remains a sweetheart.
Quirk (Mother of Pearl): Using the bacteria of the user’s spit, the bacteria hardens with the body’s produced conchiolin and aragonite, turning into its final form of a small bead after growing a layer of nacre. If used enough, these pearls could get rid of illness or infection but causes dry mouth and dehydration if used too much.
Goal: Due to a love of love from their grandparents’ marriage and a desire to get rid of their ingrained, messy habits, Riko decided that the meticulous details and instructions of event planning along with the vibe of weddings, Riko wants to be a wedding planner.
Originally I was thinking prince vibes from Riko because pearls are fancy only to spend I think an hour researching how pearls are made and now we have this! Far too many science terms that I included so that my deep dive was worth it lol. Honestly I think this over fancy snobby royal works much better, connecting to her Quirk and still making them fairly unique! Really 1-C has made a fascinating cast heh-
