LNER 800106 at Inverness, 12/08/2020, unable to depart due to unseasonably heavy rains causing flooding of the Highland Main Line.

Also spotted on Friday was IEP Class 800 800001 on a test run from London Paddington to Bristol Parkway and back, seen here on the return leg at Swindon. These will start replacing the 40+ year old HST sets on the western this Autumn.

Manufacturer: Stadler

Model: FLIRT

The class 756s are Tri Mode (overhead wires, battery and diesel) multiple units recently introduced on partially electrified routes in the south Wales valleys.

Class 800 "IET (Intercity Express Train)/Azuma"

Manufacturer: Hitachi

Model: AT300

Class 800s are bi mode (overhead wires and diesel) multiple units built to replace HSTs (Class 43s) on the East Coast and Great Western Mainlines.
