we’re not meant to speak in english in class, and tbh it generally annoys me if people do it too much because then i end up speaking english as well and it just negates the whole point of doing a study abroad, but yesterday in class the teacher was asking us whether they sold shiitake mushrooms in our countries and this guy from the UK went ‘YEAH THEY SELL EM IN TESCO’S INNIT?’ and i genuinely burst out laughing because i just didn’t expect such pure british phrasing
