Enjoy the perfect breakfast with these classic waffles. They're crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making them a family favorite.
Ingredients: 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 large eggs. 1 3/4 cups milk. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them. Then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Combine well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Watch out not to mix too much; it's okay to have some lumps. Grease the waffle iron with a little vegetable oil or non-stick cooking spray. Put enough batter into the waffle iron that is already hot to cover the waffle grid. The waffles should be golden brown and crisp after about 4 to 5 minutes of cooking with the lid closed. To serve, carefully take the waffles out of the iron and top them with your favorite things, like maple syrup, whipped cream, or fresh berries.
