Hi, first off, love the blog. you guys do good work. Second, can you do a analysis of Mage of Void. (powers and whatnot) and a song that fits mage of void. i would love if you did this, if not its all good.

 Analysis

Void is about nothingness, the unknown, and information being hidden. Roxy, being a Rogue of Void, was able to steal nothingness away from things to obtain them. The Mage is the active part of the two understanding classes and is all about understanding their aspect and understanding using their aspect as well as Experiencing™ their aspect. We can see the experience part through Sollux by how he experienced Doom by dying more than once. So the Mage of Void would experience Void by having a lot of information hidden from them, their stuff lost, and people would possibly lie to them a lot. When this Mage understands their aspect they would be a lot less oblivious and know when stuff is being hidden from them.

Powers

This Mage would need to understand their aspect more and more before really using their powers, so a fully realized Mage of Void would basically be able to do anything with nothingness with almost no restrictions. So their powers could involve things like taking things out of nothingness, put something into nothingness/add to nothingness, and much more.

Song

But It’s Better If You Do by Panic! At The Disco 

This is a pretty good example of a Mage of Void song on the side of experiencing void. The song and music video create an interesting story of sneaking around to a speak easy (the illegal strip club) and watching the performers strut their stuff until the main character’s wife (or at least girlfriend) appears there in a disguise to perform and finds out about her husband and storms off. Eventually they get arrested by the police which sucks and puts them into even more of a voidy situation with the absence of anything you’re used to when you get in jail.~ Maid of Hope

Hey there! Can you give me a song for a Seer of Space, please? You guys are always great for this sort of thing.

Bosozoku Symphonic by Area 11

This is a very long song so obviously not the whole thing works for this classpect but a part of this song that represents this classpect really well is the beginning. (sorry for not being able to find just the relevant movement on youtube!!) The ominous sounds reminds you of the eptiness of space and the chimes remind you of staring up at the night sky and watching the stars twinkle. This is more of a litteral representation of watching space than understanding it but it still works out very well.

Could you do a song for knight of life?

A Knight of Life would lack optimism and probably have to deal with a LOT of rules and we can see this when Danny talks about how his band isn't seen as the World's most intense metal band because they're too soft and over the course of the song the mood changes between evil to happy and optimistic. Also Life is associated with baked goods and who doesn’t love cookies?

Science Wars (An Acapella Parody of several Star Wars themes) - ASAPscience

Sorry for the wait, but I feel like this song is a great fit for how a Prince of Void’s powers would work. By destroying secrets and darkness, this prince would reveal knowledge and brightness. While this song is admittedly goofy, it’s incredibly educational and clears up exactly what each field represents.

Explode - Patrick Stump

Thieves steal their aspect for themselves, and Rage includes impulses and instinct as well as anger. I feel like a Thief of Rage would build up a lot of collected Rage throughout their session, and keeping all of that is sure to leave someone feeling like they want to let it all out.

Dream & Reality - Area 11

The Witch class controls and manipulates their aspect. In this song you can hear this happening when the singer says “Dreams… are realities” by essentially making their dreams come true. You can also see this when the singer claims “we are stronger than anything” and “they can't break us if they wanted to” which shows him manipulating their beliefs into thinking that nothing can stop them.

Go! Fighting Action Power! - Area 11

The Knight of Hope begins with a lack of their aspect at first but uses it to the best of their abilities than, over time, builds up their hope and can do more and more with their aspect. A good example in this song is when the singer says “I’m all alone no one can help […] when I’m in a fight against myself” showing a lack of hope but almost immediately after says “don’t give up you gotta achieve your dreams”

Can I have a land and a song for a Mage of Life please?

Here’s a song for the Mage of Life, and as for a land:

You’re the Mage of Life in the Land of Optimism and Pollution! (LOOAP)

When you enter the Medium you’re smack dab in the middle of a sludge swamp! You can build up to your first gate to be teleported away from the swamp into the rest of your land, or you can try to alchemize something strong enough to float you over the toxic lake.

As you travel across your land, you notice that there’s trash and smog everywhere! What you once thought were hills off in the distance are actually just oversized dumps. When you find a village of salamanders you can’t tell if they’re supposed to be a sickly shade of green or if they’re sick from living in trash houses.

When you try to ask if your consorts are sick, they reply with a cheery voice that absolutely nothing is wrong and that they’re as happy as can be! Suspicious, you try asking again and before they can reassure you, they turn around and vomit. Gross! Turns out all the pollution is making your consorts deathly ill, but since it’s all they’ve ever known, nobody sees it as a problem.

You need to find out what made the land so filthy and polluted and save the Salamanders!
