i have to wonder (as someone who's a relative novice to classpect theory), how much of one's hero journey is pre ordained vs how much is introspective.
and of course the obvious answer is that ALL of it is pre ordained, that's rather the point of SBURB. the story is set in stone, and even as one struggles against the narrative, the very act of struggling has been woven in from the beginning. the house always wins, in a cosmic sense.
but would it be possible to push oneself in a different direction? with foresight (and a time machine of course), could you train your past self to become a totally different classpect? and if that is possible, would that simply branch into a new timeline, or would the loop simply collapse into itself?
and if that would even be possible, would it this be possible to play a game entirely composed of alternate selves? time and space are all that's necessary to actually complete the game, but honestly if such a process was possible i think id want a full set of 12 so i could game fraymotifs. but that's just me
So I decided to retake pageofhope’s title test (and a few others because my first few results from that one are like always entirely noncanon which is friggin annoying) and I got Sylph of Blood from several of them. Okay cool, so here are some thoughts:
I feel like there’s two sides to this title’s powers: metaphorical and literal
I’m quite pleased with this title when I focus on the metaphorical side of things, helping to heal or create bonds--friendships, romantic, and other interpersonal-relationships of all kinds and I feel like that really suits me.
And then there’s the literal side, literally healing physical wounds (literal blood, gashes, etc) While it’d be nice to have a legit healer in a Sburb session........
I am a very squeamish person. This is very very bad.
