Hey, could you explain a human Maid of Doom (female) and their role in a normal session that has no interferences? Also would a Sylph of Time (human male) be a good matesprit?

A maid maintains their aspect, prepares others and keeps the balance.

Doom symbolizes destruction and death as well as law and judgment and the inevitability of things.

So a maid of doom would maintain doom, prepare others for doom, or keeps the balance between doom and not doom.

I’m not certain what you mean by a session that has no interferences, but doom would probably be looming over the session for this maid to be here.

A few ways you can take this: The maid maintains doom as in keeps it in check. There is some fault, some doom looming over the session and the Maid keeps it (or tries to, at least) from destroying the session. Or, they could think that doom is inevitable, and begin preparing others for the doom (that may or may not actually be descending on the session), leading to some odd, probably destructive decisions on the maid’s part, attempting to make the eventual doom easier for their teammates.

Doom players tend to have some misfortune in their lives, so be warned of that, but feel free to interpret it as you wish. (The captors are our doom players)

Lastly, For the Sylph of Time and the Maid of Doom, I don’t see any problems with the relationship!

(By the way, the sylph of time is a great player to have because they heal time, fixing whatever somebody else screwed up.)

Hi. Um, could you describe a page of heart and their likely personality and role in the game? Thank you in advance

Of course I can, that’s what I’m here for!

Let’s see. A Page provides their aspect to those who require it, but not until the very end. For the sake of your session, you should hope the Page’s powers aren’t needed, but if they are the page will be a very powerful player. Pages are a passive class, and usually tend to be soft spoken or naive, someone who you would look at and say “Well, they are really nice, but kinda a doormat.”

Heart could be well described as “Soul”. It’s feelings, emotions and love. Heart players feel. Alot. And there’s not much they can do about it, even if feeling is the last thing they want to do. They are a very emotional player, and their ups and downs will be bigger than most peoples.

So the Page of Heart would provide Heart to those who require it. That’s… really sweet. The Page of Heart would be very sweet. If the session is nearing endgame, and tensions are strained, and everything seems to be falling apart, this player will be the one who saves everybody from falling, from failing. This is a truly beautiful player with a beautiful personality.

If there is one thing they lack, it’s confidence. They don’t have the confidence to do what they need to do, they just don’t think that they would be able to do it.

This Page cares about others and doesn’t want to see them sad, or heartbroken, or anything other than happy. They would really feed off of the emotions of others. If others around them were sad, they wouldn’t be able to be happy. If others around them were angry, they would just feel tiny, even if they weren’t mad at the Page. They wouldn’t want to be around negative emotions, because they would really absorb them. At the same time, though, that means they would absorb positive emotions as well. They are the type of person who would love to listen to you talk about something you care about, even if they don’t. Because you care about it, and you’re excited, and they can’t help but be happy if you are. Another person genuinely laughing will brighten the Page’s day by 100% because they can just feel your happiness.

Their role in the session would definitely be to keep everyone together emotionally, but with pages, they will not be needed until the end, if they are needed at all. Their personal quest throughout the game would be to find the confidence to be able to do that. the page would see a relationship that will soon turn sour and be dying inside knowing how terrible it will be, but not have the courage to say anything about it. And when it doesn’t work -just as they predicted, because they are quite good at knowing these things- The Page would just be crushed as they watch it crumble, hating that they didn’t say anything when they saw it coming.

People will find it hard to dislike them, but somebody is bound to- probably somebody who tends to dislike people who seem small, but the Page won’t be able to deal with it. They would think they are doing something wrong, and get mad at themselves, when really it’s not their fault. So they would try to find somebody else who is happy and try to ignore any bad feelings, because if there is one thing they hate, it’s sadness, or anger, or bad emotions.

 Oh my god I need to write this character, they are developing in my mind, I have a new OC, it’s happening…

Thinking about this, I really wrote this geared towards a human character. If yours happens to be a troll, remember the standards trolls need to uphold.

Would a Mage of Light and Seer of Void work well together in a session? And would be best morails or possible matesprite (Both Derse, Male) (Troll Mage) and (Human Seer)

First off, it’s matesprit not matesprite, and Moirails.

Now, a Mage is aware of their aspect and it’s influence, but are affected negatively by their aspect. And Light usually represents riches, luck, and knowledge, or just mean Light. So a Mage of Light is aware of Light’s influence, but is affected negatively by it.

A Seer knows/sees/understands aspect and generally just knows things, while Void is literal nothing. So the Seer of Void then knows… nothing. I really like this title for all the symbolic reasons.

Well, not certain how a human and a troll could be in a session together, but whatever. I don’t see them as having a problem working together, but I also don’t see them as working together brilliantly, if you know what I mean. But I’m not so sure about these two. I see these two being very similar people. I don’t see them as different enough to be morials, because morials need to balance each other out. As matesprits, though, people can be similar and it would work.

If you told me a bit about their personalities, I feel as if I could help you more.

How would a team work with a Knight of Light and a Prince of Void, Thanks ^v^ (Sorry if I worded this strangely by the way)

Do you mean how well would they work together? 

Well a Knight is an active class that defends with/ defends their aspect. They will either protect others who cannot protect themselves using their aspect or prevent their aspect from destruction and Light represents riches, luck and knowledge. So a Knight of Light would use their own riches/ luck/ knowledge to protect others or protect the essence of it themselves. Of course, you could take it literally, protecting Light itself, which in this cace I kinda like, especially with the Prince of Void over there. 

A Prince is another active class that destroys with/ destroys aspect. Void is literal nothingness, so a prince of nothing would destroy nothing. Or, they could destroy with nothing. That is a very interesting title. (In my mind this character is all empty threats and perceived strength, but you can take it in a thousand different directions and it’d still work) 

I started thinking of these guys in a way that reflected their titles. I try to never think of titles literally. but this time, it is for the best. When I started thinking of them The Knight Protects the Light, while the Prince destroys the dark. Regardless of the characters individual personalities or motives, which may be conflicting- and I think they would be- these two would eventually complete the same goal. Their way of getting to it would differ, and they may not get along, but in the end, I think that they would make a good team, regardless of weather they did in the middle.

Sylph of Breath

I typed this up for somebody on a different site, and figured I might as well post it here as well!

Sylph is a healing class, "change or fix (through) aspect"

Breath is freedom, direction and motivation. A breath player usually ether has those or has a lack of them.

A sylph of breath would "change or fix through breath" or "change or fix breath".

To me, a Sylph of Breath seems like a pretty lighthearted person- at least on the outside. (But probably on the inside as well, but that really is up to the individual character) The sylph could be very independent and not want to be attached to anybody, But still care deeply about others. They always have their head in the clouds, and have a very wild imagination. They may forget little things often, but never the important things. As far detached as they may seem from things, they'll be there if you really need them. However, if it is not a super important thing they might not be there. They're not ignoring you on purpose, they just... forgot. They'll be sorry about it for sure. 

Some problems the Sylph could have are that they are too flighty, too forgetful, and end up distancing themselves too far from others. Or they could get trapped somewhere on the ground (figuratively) and not have enough freedom to do what they want and just be bursting with boredom and pent up energy that they have to keep inside for some reason or another. They would probably procrastinate so badly, because they simply forget to do things and then it's time and they haven't started. 

Relating the title to a session, you could interpret this a few ways. The Sylph could "change motivation", perhaps showing a fellow player who may be making the wrong decisions the right thing to do, or prevent them from doing something for the wrong reasons. They may rekindle someone's motivation, helping them along after they gave up.  Or maybe their arc would be to heal the lack of motivation or direction in themselves.
