“Sometimes we have to do things twice to get them right.” - someone smart probably said this, or maybe I actually made this up. —————————————— The first time I took this class, I didn’t prepare as well as I thought I did. I was beyond stressed out and found a helpful textbook a little too late. Disappointed to not have done as well as I know I’m capable of has me taking the class one more time. Knowing what to expect this time around, had me much more prepared than I was before.

Suffice to say I’m taking this class for a round two in the ring and I plan on making this final project my bitch.

Be damned if I let some class effect my GPA. Boy, bye.

Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Why Women Stay Quiet at Work

I like this reading not only because its enlightening but also because Sheryl Sandberg is one of my favorite. I watched her speech on Ted about gender equity and women in work place when I was in high school. I remember she told girls to stand in the front instead of crouching behind men. When I was little, I didn’t realize gender discrimination in work place just because I could see a lot of women doing well in each field, such as Sheryl Sandberg. Not until I kind of grew up did I realize how much have they worked for being treated equally with men. I just finished interview a female professional for my final paper, we talked about a fact that people would only admit our outstanding when we work very hard to do everything well while they admit boys’ outstanding even if they only do one thing well.
