My Modern Literature students and I have been working on figuring out the best categories for my classroom library. First, we each went through a large pile labeling each book with specific topics (ex. Getting over a loss, understanding yourself, gang violence) and then we made overarching categories. We then decided which ones could be paired together and then ultimately decided which color for each category. I am so excited to label all of these books!

in german class we were supposed to do an advertisement thing for a random product we have to make and my group came up with the Springflop - the shoe that can flop and spring.

Pimp my project?

So, I forgot the measurements I took on the wall before school ended, so when I went back today and measured I was surprised at how much I'd underestimated it.  If I have to pay full price for IdeaPaint, it'll be about $350.  I'm trying to convince them to give me a discount (y'know, poor teacher, poor school, poor kids, etc.), we'll see how that goes.  They give non-profits a discount of 25% off or something like that, so the salesperson today said she'd check with her manager and see what she can do for me.

Here's where I could use your help.. I don't know how guerilla marketing works, but I'm gonna start by tagging IdeaPaint in this post on Tumblr and on Facebook.  If you think they should give me a discount, let them know!!  KTHXBAI!!!
