A lot of people have been asking me for prom hair/makeup tips, so I thought I’d show you all how I did mine this year! I can’t take the credit for this makeup look because I basically just followed this tutorial by bubzbeauty on YouTube (her videos are actually what first got me into makeup), except I skipped the blush (because I didn’t feel like I needed the extra color) and false eyelashes (because I don’t own any). As for my hair, I just curled it and then pinned the front sections back (which is about the extent of my hairstyling skills tbh). Brought a tiara along to the photoshoot because I was definitely feeling some Disney princess vibes with this look.

So I ended up having my first champagne, I danced on a table at a park, and talked like there was no tomorrow.

I honestly didn't think I'd make it past 2012, but I did, I'm so proud, I wanted to cry, but I couldn't because family would've freaked. It was amazing, a bit cold, but memorable. We watched the fireworks from a distance, we didn't find the place in time, so we just stood there taking pictures and fooling around, nothing could have been more unplanned, nothing could have been more perfect.
