Hi! Our!Ciel trying to retrieve the ring himself made me wonder: Maybe when Real!Ciel said “How dare you do that to me on that day?” he was actually talking to Our!Ciel for “making a mess of him” and not Sebastian for eating his soul. I hope that made sense. ^^; What do you think?

Hey! ^^ I think real Ciel was talking to Sebastian when he said these words because he was addressing him before in that scene:

But maybe he really didn’t mean that he ate his soul but rather what happened to the ring, especially since there’s a focus on the ring after real Ciel said these words.

We know that the ring seems really important to the twin. It could calm him down when he was a kid after being so desperate about our Ciel’s plans for his future; he held on to the ring during their whole captivity and swallowed it so no one could get it; and the first message he left for our Ciel when he returned was about the ring, as well:

So maybe the fact that Sebastian and our Ciel got the ring out of real Ciel’s body enrages the twin even more than Sebastian eating his soul. Or at least he may not only talk about his soul but also about the ring when he says “How dare you do that to me that day”. So the twin could have probably meant both -- our Ciel and Sebastian -- but I think he rather meant to address Sebastian in that scene.

For the fic title ask thing, “Love is Lost and Confused” or “Love must be a dream”. You choose! Pick your poison! Haha ^^

I’m gonna answer for both because I dig these titles. 

Love is Lost and Confused: Io and Ryuu have been living together in America for several years, after Io moves there for work and Ryuu goes with him.The night of their engagement, Io and Ryuu are involved in an accident that results in Ryuu having a bad head injury that requires surgery. Io, who escaped with a broken leg and multiple fractures in one arm, blames himself, and spends long hours wishing he could take Ryuu’s place. 

Then Ryuu regains consciousness--but he's suffered severe memory loss, and can barely even remember who he is. He doesn’t recognise Io, and acts like a completely different person. 

The doctors tell Io that familiar things may help Ryuu to regain some of his memories, but to be prepared for Ryuu to remember nothing. That Ryuu may have to start rbuilding his life from the ground up, and make new memories from scratch. 

When Ryuu is discharged from hospital, Io takes him home in the hope that the apartment and all the photos there will jog his memory, but Ryuu only looks upon these things as if he’d never seen them before, and seems intensely troubled by the photographs. Io is sleeping in the guest bedroom because Ryuu doesn’t want to be touched by him. Ryuu is stressed over his memory loss, often ending up in tears about it. 

Io is at his wit’s end, and doesn’t know what he can do to help--all the money in the world won’t bring Ryuu’s memories back. 

So when Ryuu starts obsessing over the thought of going to a certain little town back in Japan - a town Io had never heard of - Io remembers what the doctors have said, and promptly books their flights. 

Upon arrival, Ryuu starts having flashbacks, and it turns out this tiny town is his birthplace. Little by little, Ryuu starts to piece together his past.

They travel the country, Io booking flights and taxis and train tickets according to Ryuu’s whims. Sometimes Ryuu’s flashbacks are happy, sometimes they leave him sobbing in Io’s arms. It’s heartbreaking for Io, who feels utterly helpless and wretched. Ryuu - his Ryuu, before whom he’d gotten down on one knee scant few months ago - is long gone, with this scared and confused Ryuu left in his place. What makes it harder is that Io still loves him, can’t stop loving him, wants to protect this side of Ryuu that the old Ryuu never let show. But his hope that Ryuu might one day love him back is slowly fading, and Io, still blaming himself for the accident, falls deep into depression, which he hides from Ryuu. 

Meanwhile Ryuu, who has dreams every night that terrify and bewilder him, is slowly starting to notice the magnetism of this serious stranger who claims to be his fiance. And as flashbacks tip him off to events of the past - notably good times and bad with Io - Ryuu learns that Io isn’t as strong as he’s been acting. He starts to understand why Io looks so serious all the time, and begins to recognise the stress that lies deep within Io’s gaze. 

And when Io breaks down and tells Ryuu that he can’t do this anymore, Ryuu realises that he can’t be without him. 

Because though he is no longer The Old Ryuu, and though the flashbacks about Io are like seeing the memories of another person, all the new, post-accident memories are held close in his heart, and Io is right there with them. 

The love felt by The Old Ryuu may have been lost in the accident, but the New Ryuu is growing a love that is fresh and new--and stronger than before. 

...that ended up longer than expected TLDR IoRyuu, Ryuu loses memories and forgets everything and falls in love with Io all over again as he travels around learning about his past. 

Love Must Be A Dream: Angsty Ryuu-centric post-breakup fic in which Ryuu feels that love is nothing more than an illusion created by corporations in order to sell stuff to us, a lie used by others to bend people to their own will. 

Angsty end: Ryuu will never love again

Fluffy end: Io finds out what’s wrong and is like ‘I hear you, people always betray’. And that hurts Ryuu even deeper, because Io is wonderful and should never have to suffer such hurt. ‘You never betray, Io,’ he says (completely forgetting the time Io dumped the DC for the SC) 

And then they kiss.

I love the headcanon about Io loving Ryuu’s nose. That’s one of my favorite hc’s. ��

I saw that Le Movement Final will be streamed but for 2500 yen on Rakuten. Is Miss Dream looking for donations towards the fee so that the live performance may be subbed?

Oh man I’m so sorry, I don’t know how long this message has been here! Tumblr didn’t notify me at all x_xI bought the Rakuten ticket with my own money, so we’re all set there! I’m very devoted to this musical :D We definitely plan to sub it if we can get a recording, but because the Rakuten streaming service works so differently from other services, we’re not 100% certain we’ll be able to get a recording. If anyone has any tips for recording from this service please send them my way!

1. What was the first fandom you got involved in?The digimon fandom. It’s also the fandom that made me discover what fanfiction even was, I stumbled upon livejournal and ff.net through googling lots of digimon related stuff.

40. What do you struggle the most with in your writing?That differs per fic, though I’ve always find action scenes a pain in the ass. But in retrospect, nothing can be as hard as writing a shinto wedding

45. What is your all time favourite fanfic? OH! It’s The World at an Average Rotation of 60 to 100 Beats per Minute by Hotwaterfortea.

Hotwaterfortea is such an amazing boueibu fanfic writer! They get all the characters just right, and write the most interesting interactions! I love it! Especially this fic, it’s their first boueibu fic they did if I remember right.

And it has so many things that I love in a boueibu fics! There’s ioryuu, hurt Ryuu, angst, protective Io! And it was so cool to see the characters interact in ways we don’t get to see in canon!

Currently Hotwaterfortea is writing another ioryuu fic and it’s so cool! It’s a multi chapter fic, about the alien technology turning the boys into youkai! It’s called Origin (our hands cleave as the faultlines go), it’s so great and you should check it out!
