see, the funny thing about claudino is the the fact that one of them has a family they want to keep in their lives affects so much of it... both sides of claudrien are entirely willing to cut out their families, meaning that anything going forward would be a lot more focused on figuring out what the fuck they're going to do with their lives now that they're cut free of any previous obligations. it's a lot more intense, more reckless, codependent and messy and bloody
nino is, to put it lightly, not even close to adrien's brand of insane. he's not insane at all, actually, he's a stable enough guy as it goes.
nino challenges claudia to not just resign herself to the idea that her life was a waste from the start, but is very chill about it. meanwhile, his biggest struggles pertain to his family and wanting to meet their expectations (the lahiffes have a bit of a 'model minority family' thing going on), so claudia challenges him to be a little less dependent on others' opinions.
there's a bit of overlap between claudino and djwifi, but claudia is overall a lot less enthusiastic than alya and often blasé or sarcastic, and the claudia/alya shared "i don't care what people think of me" comes from different sources, as alya is more traditionally self-assured and has clear goals for her future whereas claudia is just so critical of herself that nothing anybody else says could hurt her (at worst, they only confirm her own negatives biases about herself lol).
anyway their 'dates' are usually stuff like walking noel to his private catholic school together or sitting on the side of a public football field after dark eating mr freeze ice-cream credit to silu for those ideas btw hehe
