Claudis Hornette design notes. Claudis is the father of Claudette and the husband of Elaine Hornette. Claudis is a well built Hornet soldier and the favorite son of the war general Claudia Hornette. This soon sours after he chooses to marry Elaine, a Hornet his mother deems unworthy.

Claudis has bright orange hair that slicks back into curls and a bushy beard with a tie at the end. While not a queen, he is very close in strength to one, even being able to summon his mothers halberd in his insect form. He also has some royal fluff on his chest. His only real clothing is a loin cloth with the Horenette clan emblem.

Claudette gets most of her looks directly from her father.

Families (part 4)

(part 1, part 2, part 3) Last one! ;__; for now. (Some has suggested doing this for the rest of the cats, so now i've got something to do during the hiatus) Yeah, lullabies are cliche FFFF. In the top right & bottom left, Tygra and Lion-o are 6 and 3 1/2 years old, and Edith isn't around anymore *SOBS* They got woken up scared by some thunder so they went to look for daddy. Do kids still slam their parents awake at ungodly hours? 8D Claudus can't say no though. Look at those faces. Those place names are totally made up but they are within Thundera.

(Top left: Afternoon naps) Tygra: Mom, can you sing the lullaby again? Edith: You never get tired of it, don't you? *smile* Tygra: I love Mom's songs the best! (Lion-o snoozing) (Top right: Just Thunder) Lion-o: Tygra...I'm scared. *chokes pillow* Tygra: Don't worry, we'll be fine once we find Dad.  (Bottom left: Morning call) Claudus: *groans* So early in the morning...Boys, what is the meaning of this? Lion-o: You promised! Fishing practice! Tygra: And the Outer Plains! And the Great Tree! And the Training Grounds! (Bottom right: At the garden) Tygra: Mom, what's this purple wingy thing? Edith: That is a butterfly Tygra.  Tygra: It looks pretty *stares*  (Lion-o tries to catch one haha)

Families (part 3)

(part 1, part 2, part 4) More sweets before bedtime ;D it's becoming a bad habit lolz. Tygra's around 4, Lion-o about 18 months. For Tygra's adoption...I'll go with his parents dying in battle and were friends of Claudus. So, there you see him bringing home a sad toddler (on horseback). Edith makes adjusting to a new family as fun as possible. XD Of course, baby Lion-o helps. Kept Tygra's stripes at the back simple. And...Claudus hasn't given up his bedtime storytelling job. 8D One more page to go~

Families (part 2)

(part 1, part 3, part 4) Didn't ditch homework but gotta sleep after this. Messy coloring. More Edith, some adorkable Claudus, and whole lot of adorably fat baby Lion-o. Yeah, duno where the nursemaids are. Probably told by Edith to leave Claudus alone with baby. Bottom left scene is from the movie Mask of Zorro, where Zorro told heroic tales (with flowers) to his eager baby without feeling stupid...that is until his wife comes in. xDDD And babies love grabbing/pulling hair, right? Next part will have toddler Tygra heheheh <3

Families (part 1) <3

(part 2, part 3, part 4) Taking break between homework by coloring my sketchies. Somebody suggested to draw Lion-o's mom/Claudus' wife, so here she is in my fangirl mind. (Does this count as an OC?) I know her name defies the naming scheme. e__e She'd be damn good with the spear, probably the best. :D Her hair is darker in the top half cos I forgot not to shade in pencil. Sorry, if Claudus seems dorky. Some husbands are like that with their wives, right? More to come if I feel like ditching homework again.
