It’s all she can mumble. She’s staring at her bloodied hands, trying so hard not to look at the body on the ground but god she can’t help it, it’s like he’s looking at her and he is, blank eyes open wide and pointing right at her. What had she done? She hadn’t meant to do that. Hadn’t mean to kill him.
Her hands shake as she’s lead back to the jet, walking almost as if she’s in a trance. She can’t even hear the words being said to her, just know that it’s Logan that’s got her, that he’s okay and he’s safe and it should untangle the knot in her stomach but it doesn’t because she just killed someone-
It’s the snap of her seatbelt clicking into place that pulls her out of it, and she finally looks up, only now feeling the way the tears spill down her cheeks. “D-Dad? What did I d-do?”
