CLC Teaching Their S/O One of Their Dances
Prompt: May I request an headcanon of CLC teaching s/o one of there dances
A/N: Hearing the news about Elkie leaving CLC has made me so sad, but I want nothing more than to support her and her decisions. I know this must have been hard for her and I hope she’s successful and happy in the future. Cube can burn to the ground for treating her and CLC so badly. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! - Admin Kiwi
Seungyeon: As soon as you asked her to help you learn the dance, she would be incredibly excited, wanting to get started right away. Seungyeon might seem like an intimidating teacher at first (especially since she knows all of the dances like the back of her hand), but she’s much too whipped for you to be scary. While she might intense while trying to teach her members a dance, with you she can’t help but smile or laugh when you mess up, unable to get mad at you for anything. Instead, she has fun with it, going slow and trying to explain the dance in a way that’s easy for you to understand. She’d ask you how well you wanted to do the dance as well, being a little bit harder on you if you said you wanted to copy it exactly but being laid back otherwise, smiling proudly and congratulating you every time you got a move down, her eyes filled with affection.
Seunghee: Seunghee would be pleasantly surprised when you told her that you wanted to learn one of the dances, and would playfully tell you to ask Seungyeon instead, asking if you really wanted to learn from her. After you told her that yes, you wanted to learn from her, she’d sigh dramatically as she agreed, but wouldn’t be able to hide her excitement when she brought you to the studio. She would be smiling brightly as she played the dance practice for you and explained the different parts of the dance, pausing often to make sure you were understanding everything. She wouldn’t be strict at all and sometimes would get some moves wrong herself, even though she’d whine and defend herself by saying it had been a while since the last time she performed that song. Instead, she’d focus on making sure you were having fun, wanting to make yet another happy memory with you.
Yujin: Yujin would actually surprise you with how intense she was when it came to dancing. When you told her that you wanted her to teach you some of the dances to her songs, she’d raise her eyebrows with a little smile. “Are you willing to put in the work to learn?” In the moment, you would think she was joking, but as soon as you started to learn with her you would realize that she was completely serious. She’s a stickler for perfection, and although the two of you would have plenty of laughs (especially when you fell trying to perform one particularly hard move) she would want to make sure that you actually learned the dance. “If you’re going to tell people you learned the dance from me, it has to be perfect.” After practice, though, she’d get you water and massage your sore muscles, sweetly telling you that you did well and that she was proud of you for trying so hard.
Sorn: Sorn would have a very similar surprised reaction to Seunghee, pointing to herself and gasping when you told her that you wanted her to teach her some dances. “You want me to teach you? Are you sure? I can ask the other members to teach you, you’ll probably actually learn if you ask them.” After you insisted on her teaching you, though, she’d get serious about it (at least, as serious as she could get) and would stay up doing her best to memorize the dances even better so that she could teach you. She would be nervous at first, messing up a few moves and getting flustered until you reminded her that you didn’t want it to be perfect, but you wanted to share this moment with her, since her music was special to her. After your reassurance, she would relax and let herself have fun dancing with you. Sure, you might not dance to Black Dress perfectly (and she might have taught you a wrong move for the fun of it) but the two of you would have a great time practicing together, so it would all be worth it.
Yeeun: While Yeeun would also be a bit surprised when you told her that you wanted to learn a dance from her, she would immediately be excited, her eyes sparkling as she sat up and asked which dance you wanted to learn. She would be super excited to share her music with you and would be flattered that you wanted to learn from her directly, but she would also feel a little bit shy about being alone with you in the practice room and dancing in front of you without her members around. After being in the practice room with you and warming up, though, her shyness would evaporate and once again would be replaced with excitement as she smiled brightly, asking what you wanted to learn first. She wouldn’t be a very strict teacher, but she would focus on making sure you actually learned the dance through making it fun and easy to understand, wanting you to be as excited to learn as she was to teach you.
Elkie: Elkie would be flattered when you came to her asking her to teach you the dances to CLC songs, a smile immediately spreading across her face as she flushed a pretty pink, asking why you were suddenly interested in learning the dances from her. After you told her that you wanted to share the experience with her, especially since it was special to her, she’d immediately agree, asking what songs you wanted to learn as she went over ideas in her head. She wouldn’t be a strict teacher by any means, but she wouldn’t be afraid to tease you either, grinning and asking if you were born with two left feet when you tripped over yourself a few too many times. Despite her teasing, though, she would be sweet, helping you through the parts you had troubles with and reminding you that this was all for fun and that you didn’t have to be perfect, a smile on her lips as she told you that she was just happy you were there learning with her.
Eunbin: Eunbin would probably beg you to let her teach you the dances before you ever caved and told her that you wanted to learn. She would love sharing this part of her life with you and would squeal when you agreed, quickly going through the easiest dances to learn and asking which ones you wanted to learn. She wouldn’t be very strict (she would be too focused on having fun with you to pay attention to every little move) but you would find yourself learning the dance through her simple yet direct tips. The two of you would find yourselves getting distracted often, goofing off and laughing together instead of actually dancing (or dancing correctly, at least) but by the end of it all, you would actually be able to dance to the song of your choice, surprising even yourself by how easily it came to you after her directions. Her eyes would sparkle as she asked you to let her teach you even more, and of course, you wouldn’t be able to say no to her.
