You know how very rich people will sometimes hire ballerinas to just perform at a function they’re having, but like scattered amongst the crowd as if they were part of the decoration or something? Clea Duplessis would totally get Le Ballet National to do this at one of her events and like, imagine the chaos that could ensue.
Obviously, she would force Mishi to be an attendant of the event, rather than dance. This could cause further tension between her and some of the corps, but I reckon she would spend the night trying to subtly give the dancers breaks or encouragement when they’re tired of being stared at or disregarded.
Gabin would be unlucky enough to be a dancer. He would hate it at first because no one would be focusing on him, but then a pair of businessmen would have a very juicy gossip session next to him and he overhears some scandal or other, and he makes it his mission to gather as much dirt on all these people as possible by the end of the night.
Geneviève would be there overseeing and would keep butting into conversations to try and get people to pay attention to and appreciate the dancers, leading to many an awkward moment. She’d probably end up helping Mishi out and in the process stumble upon Gabin’s espionage. Initially, she would be against it but after he shares one nugget of very useful blackmail material she decides to turn a blind eye.
It would be a spectacular train wreck!
