I NEED ADVICE

so I have a peeling jelly which is basically a gentle chemical exfoliant and you should only use it twice a week. I bought a handheld cleansing brush (no batteries or what not just a brush for my cleanser) and i read that its pretty much exfoliating for you so should i hold off using my brush because same thing, people said use the brush maybe twice a week to get used to it. I want to start using the brush cause I feel like i’ll be more cleansed but aughhh apparently it’s normal to experience breakouts starting off and my skin has kinda been freaking out a little bit and I have no idea what product that I’m using is doing this to me. Any opinions?
