Cleo is a pirate captain known for rescuing other monsters from certain doom at the hands of the human empire. One werewolf seems to think that she’s rescuing him out of love, not duty, but eh, Ren’s hot and willing to steal for her, so it’s fine.

Cleo is very spoopy, but on Halloween she doesn't want to be, on Halloween everyone is dressed up like monsters, dressed up like *her* and she wants to feel normal. On Halloween, she likes to dress up like a pretty traditional human princess, and of course the hermits let her live that ideal even for just a day. Ren enjoys playing the prince charming for her and the other hermits often have to argue with him leading up to the event if they want a turn being her one true love... Maybe more the one huh?

Does Cleo ever suspect Ren isn’t solely motivated by helping her feel special? Or, alternatively, does she know exactly what he’s trying and is just waiting for him to get the guts to confess?
