Although, he is not a lyrical assassin on the beat, Paulk’s lyrics come from deep within; being a product of his environment and wanting a better life for him and his’ by grinding for it. Those who are from “The Streets”, can relate to Paper Paulk’s hustlers mentality and what he…

Coming from “The Land” (Cleveland, Ohio), watch out for Dame B. Official. This Cleveland native has a story to tell (like many others), however listening to Dame reflects the everyday struggle and grind that most in his position endures. Not to many can turn a negative situation into prosperity but Dame is proving “Only the strong survives”. From spending about two years locked up, almost being homeless, to being one of Cleveland’s hottest independent artist and producers… There is not much I can say. Get to know Dame B., let him tell you his story in his latest mixtape, “HollaLuyah”, which dropped on indy.livemixtapes.com. Dame may be one out of a handful of multi-diverse rappers, that the game has been missing. Only the reach of his fan base will be able to determine if I am right or not!
IndieView w/ Dame B. Official
IV). So Dame, about how long have you been rapping?
DB). I’ve been rapping since bout 2009, I think.
IV). What drives you to rap, to follow your passion?
DB). Being able to talk about my real life struggles in my past/present and connecting with people that have been through the same situations that I had to deal with.
IV). Which local artists, R&B/Hip Hop artists would you wish to collaborate with?
DB). I like P The Artist a lot from my city; great voice and understand melodies.
IV). Same question, however which big name artist do you wish you could collaborate with?
DB). I would like to collaborate with R. Kelly, Drake or Ronald Isley.
IV). Who’s your idol in life and in the music industry; past or present?
DB). My idol in my life right now is God; period, past, & present.
IV). Which song is your favorite and means the most to you, that you created?
DB). My favorite song that I created is called, “Pose To be”, not released yet but its deep. I didn’t write the song at all. I was going through deep hurt, went straight into the studio and went straight IN on the track, discussing current & past events.

IV). Which song do you feel you had your best collaboration on?
DB). Not sure. Can’t quite decide but it would probably be a song I did with my bro, Guttaman.
IV). Where do you see yourself in the foreseeable future with your music career?
DB). I see myself as s Millionaire; writing music for other people, making movies, and investing into bigger and better opportunities.
IV). Which Producer have you always wanted to work with? Local or Mainstream?
DB). I always wanted to work with Dr. Dre and/or London On Da Track. I like the sound that they have. It always caught my attention; new or old.
IV). What has been the greatest experience during your music career?
DB). When I had a female break down in tears from meeting me in person. She said, ” I just love him and his music”. It touched my heart & soul. That’s the type of encouragement that keeps me going with my music.
I’d like thank Dame B. for the interview. It has been a humbling experience to interview an individual like this young indie grinder who has the skill set that he possesses and still remain humble as well.
