Oh boy, I can't wait for the new Clerith nonsense to come from Rebirth.
If they are anything like "Cloud's resolution" and Hollow then we are in for a treat.

The details about Cait Sith are irrelevant. The question is: why did the creators give Cloud & Aerith a wedding prediction? Answer: to make gamers think that if Aerith hadn’t died, her and Cloud would have gotten married. The tragedy of star-crossed lovers is that tragedy prevents them from becoming a couple. Think Jack and Rose from Titanic. I know you want to write this off by saying Cait Sith isn’t reliable, but obviously the creators included it to make Aerith’s death that much more tragic.
I like how has Cloud zero reaction to Aerith once again trying to throw herself at him.
I also like how Cait Sith tells her the cost of his fortune telling is one date with Aerith. And she nods in agreement. DUN DUN DUUUUN.
As for why the prediction? I don’t know. Why would Square throw out some possible happy ending scenarios for Aerith right before they kill her? I wonder?

I have no idea what's going on, but I love the clerith cuddle!
