Not-Rose smiled up at the girl -- the handful of crumpled up smaller bills that Tabitha had handed to him lying off to the side. “Of course, darling... Here you are,” he chuckled, handing it to her gingerly. “Best of luck out there... Remember to have fun.”

Ball Guy wasn’t certain what was happening over there, but it seemed like this smaller girl was coming before the pudgier looking lad... She looked almost scared to death, so he hoped she would be alright to--

Nevermind -- he was in the soup again. He wasn’t sure HOW such a slight little thing had managed to nail the target dead-center, but there was no arguing with the result as he floundered around in the water.

Rose chuckled, handing her the well-earned sticker. “Congratulations, my dear! What a great shot... Take this with my warmest regards, okay?”

Once Ball Guy was finished resetting the booth and had climbed back onto his perch, Rose finally finished tallying Tabitha’s bills. Luckily for him, it came out to exactly 1,000 Pokebucks -- if he’d been just one pence shy, Rose wouldn’t have hesitated to send him packing. He nodded at the man with that unamused look still playing out onto his features. “You’re on. Hurry it up, would you?” he grumbled, dropping the Dive Ball into Tabitha’s hands.

Result: 2! (Miss)

“Well, would you look at that!” Rose practically chortled, grinning almost wolfishly at the Magma admin. “You FAILED. It barely made it a couple of meters!”

“O-Oh...” Ball Guy gasped. “Well, that’s okay! If you want to know how you can improve, you just--”

“Yes, yes, that’s enough, Ball Guy,” Rose cut in, waving him off. He grinned smugly at Tabitha, chin resting in his palm. “You can leave now.”

Honestly, if you come at my Rose assuming that he’s evil or manipulated or abused your muse, I’m already side-eyeing at you. Like, you can be mad at Jaideep for summoning eternatus because he did do that and he feels terrible about it but he didn’t abuse or manipulate Leon, Bede or Oleana. I’m so fucking tired at people coming at Jaideep and mischaracterising him for the sake of some cheap angst. Like, I do have Jaideep’s bio in my muse document, and you don’t even have to scroll that much either! I even bolded the important bits if you’re in a TL;DR mood. That should give you a somewhat clear picture what he’s like. Spoiler alert: not evil. I’d tell you to go bother some other Rose mun whose Rose is actually evil, but I’m sure they don’t want to deal with your edgy ass either.

Totally-not-Rose shot him a look of blistering contempt behind his sunglasses, and sighed, shaking his head. “Hold it, you. You’re not getting your turn until I finish counting these out. Wait right there as the next person goes before you.”

Make HIM count out every goddamned pence like a secondary schooler working at Whimpod, would he? Not-Rose would have to reward him by counting these out as slowly and painfully as possible, then.
