Their eyes. You can read everything from their eyes. Clarke and Lexa didn’t have to tell each other how they felt because they could see everything, every emotions. Eliza Taylor and Alycia Debnam Carey could truly bring out the best in each other. This scene is pure perfection.

My favorite Clexa scene would have to be where Lexa kisses Clarke for the first time and they give into their desires in the middle of such controversy and war. It’s a moment they give into- a shrivel in time. It was beautiful because Clarke’s character is to do what’s best for her people and so is Hedas but Lexa took the leap and kissed her. Clarke pulled away but not before giving into her heart for a second, to feel. So to see them struggle against their attraction for so long and then have this scene where it’s actualized was a “SQUEE!!” moment for me. What sealed the scene was how they both reacted once Clarke got out of the tent. A Deep breath from Clarke and that lip bite/eye glistening plea to the sky by Lexa.
