due to shadow being part doom, cyclone has decaying powers !! and uh... she kinda like... killed sonic bcuz of it..😭

shadow took her to amy, left cyclone on amys door step and left, like he walked away he could not deal with his husband being dead im sorry bro😓

(btw i freaking LOVE S.C. im really excited to see where his story goes!! as a kid whos parents were lowk absent when i was tiny its comforting seeing some rep for expirences like mine !!)

lowk i love the idea of sonadow having some super extravagant proposal/wedding

but i think the proposal would be more of a

*both r laying in bed, all their friends are married for +3-5 years MAYBE, theyve been dating for a solid 8 years idk*

sonic(in a chilli stained shirt and some crusty ass boxers probably. if not naked): hey uh... shadow were dating right?

shadow(in some baddie type pjs BTW🙏): i-yes??? were you not aware of that for the past EIGHT YEARS??

and so like, they just get married, sonic lowk has no perception of marriage and shadow hates sonic so much he doesnt even care(he loves that blue gumball son of bitch he doesnt care as long as they get to be together) so like the next day sonic just texts them all like "me and shadow got married!!" and everyone is like "WHAT????"

rouge makes them have a real wedding because she can and amy helps out, its small, just friends and whatnot but its nice, and like theyre honeymoon isnt insane they just go out of town for a week and then come back

shadows been everywhere, he lives in a very secluded area and knows what to grow and wjat to eat, he probably has some livestock or smth, like hes chillin in an area away from ghe HELL that he knows is the other parts of the world, i feel like after awhile hed just get tired of saving things, hed rather just sleep and chill at home

also grieveinh for over 100 years after your husband(who btw lived to be well over 100 due to chaos energy) dies makes you not wanna do much. Like yes shadow i get it.

so imagine findinh a stupid albino leaf shaped child eating TRASH and other mobians/humans/idek off the street, AND YOU KNOW HIM

sonic and shadow live in the green hills area for a decent ammount of time after their marriage, then they leave and travel the world together, running through fields and woods, beach horizons and mountain peaks. no one knows where they are ever, they keep in touch obviously, but rarely do any of their friends see them after they leave

everyone knows about sonic and shadows wereabouts, if you dont youre missing out!

after literal decades of traveling over all types of land, sonic(whos old as shit by now) and shadow(looks old asf, he'll regen soon dw) finally go back to their true home in green hills, seeing all their friends again after decades of just short visits and constant calls.

and then after their friends start to slowly creep to their last years sonic and shadow start looking for a more secluded area to live, obviously they spend all their friends last moments with them. but once they all pass, sonic and shadow leave to live on a little mountain side in a cute little cabin, its eclectake and crazy looking, but its home<3

shadow continues to grow old looking, and then regenerate(basically just shed the old lookin crap) while sonic becomes more grey and old. though he lives far longer than any of his other friends, hes not immortal. he passes while with shadow sitting on a bench under their apple tree. his head on shadows shoulder looking over their gorgeous view of the mountain range theyve called home for over 40 years.

shadow doesnt realize at first, but once he does he just cries, hes glad he was with sonic in his last moments, but the heart will always break no matter how calm the last moments might be. sonic is burried under the apple tree.

shadow gets inspired after his husbands passing to become a kinder soul, though he never leaves his mountain range so he becomes a secluded man, he farms his own crops and makes his own meals, only going out of town to get chilli ans hot dogs for his weekly chilli dog while he sits alone at his small circle dining table, looking at his photo of his dear husband, from basically a millenia ago.
