(Body functions/body parts men!) Not urgent, but I've been curious for a while! I'm a FtM trans man and pre-everything but I pass well enough that if I don't talk, I can use the men's bathroom ok. I was wondering if it's a natural thing for people with penises to sit down to pee sometimes? Also when they "go number two" is it common to sit down first, or pee first then sit down? Sorry for the odd questions but it'll really help my dysphoria to know I think!

Yeah, some AMAB people sit down to pee, since it is more comfortable and easier to use their phone or whatever. It’s not too weird at all, actually. Some prioritize that it’s faster to stand or use aurinal if they’re not anxious about it.Also, AMABs will often sit down if they have to do both - much like AFABs, if you have to do both, it’ll sometimes happen at about the same time naturally, and nobody wants to shit themselves in front of a toilet. Of course, you might realize you need to poop while you’re peeing (or vice versa), but that’s a whole other thing.The thing I want to make clear to you, trans guy to trans guy, is that the chances of a guy standing there and investigating if you’re peeing and if you are, if you’re sitting or standing, are impossibly small. Nobody cares. They’re just in there to go to the bathroom too. I know it seems like they do and you might feel paranoid as fuck, but they don’t. One thing I do when I’m anxious about it (honestly, I did it in women’s bathrooms too) is that I just sit there on my phone until it sounds like the bathroom is empty, or at least the people that were in there while I went in/was going to the bathroom are gone.

Nobody is going to hang around just to ask a dude if they were sitting to pee. All they can see is your feet or legs at most.
