Clint needs a haircut for a job interview, Phil’s the barber he meets. Phil gives him some helpful tips, but Clint doesn’t get the job. A few weeks later he comes in again for another haircut for a different job interview, and Phil runs through some test questions with him. There’s a real rapport growing between them, and Phil’s glad to get to know more about this cute, self-effacing guy through their mock interviews. 

This keeps happening til a few months later when Clint comes back later the same day as his cut, grinning because “I got the job, Phil!” He hugs Phil tight and asks him out there and then for a drink - cause Phil’s his good luck charm and he’s pretty sure he flunked the last few interviews because he wanted an excuse to come back to get his hair cut again!

Not long after, Clint never has to pay for another haircut again, because his boyfriend makes sure his hair is perfect every day :)

Oh wonderful fic finders, I need your help. Disclaimer: I may be remembering this wrong. I believe it was AO3 and a Long Fic. C/C of course. College AU. All I remember was that one of them had to go before a board to be reinstated or to graduate. I don't recall who was teacher or student. There was a lot of drama. How's that for vague?

The scene with the board is in Chapter  9. It’s actually a disciplinary hearing, but whether or not they can graduate is the point of it, so I’m pretty sure this is right.

Hi There! I'm looking for an Avengers fix-it (likely on AO3), where Phil (due to Fury tampering with his memories) believes that after NYC, Clint had ended their relationship and didn't want to see him again, while Clint thought that Phil was dead. Thankfully, there was a happy end :)

I think you’re looking for It’s The Season Where Time Begins to Fade by torakowalski. It’s a larger Christmas fic written for Feelstide. The portion you remember is at the end and searching for “Protocol 8” will take you to where they reunite. (The whole fic is lovely though.)

Clint/coulson

Put a ship in my ask and I will tell you a bit about how each of the following scenarios would go down for them:

Fake dating -  I imagine this one going on before the two are even friends.They would have to pose as a couple for an opp last minute,. One of the other agents gets food poisoning and they need someone to fill in quickly, Phil steps in and quickly makes a new identity for himself very quickly. Clint is flustered because the new identity seems like the exact opposite of “desk jokey” Phil Coulson. After the opp Clint learns that Phil is a lot more complicated then what he seems, and he sets out on a mission to learn the real Phil Coulson.

Bodyswap- Clint would take every opportunity to just look at Phil’s body (and be amazed by all the glorious chest hair.) Phil will seem like he doesn’t care, but he takes full advantage of Clint’s eyesight and flexibility. 

Sexpollen/fuck or die/aliens made them do it - Both of them would fight it the best they could, even so far as going to different buildings. Once they have been cleared they will have hot frantic sex. 

Dark!fic - SHIELD is an evil organization whose soul pruprose is to create the perfect soldier. They need Clint’s eyes. Phil captures him, but falls in love, and they both decide to take down SHIELD one gruesome murder at a time. (sorry this one kind of sucks haha)

Secret kinks - Clint loves it whenever Phil wears glasses. He also likes it whenever Phil takes charge of the situation and goes into total BAMF mode. Phil loves it when Clint is wet. He also likes it whenever Clint overpowers him slightly. 

Their first kiss - Their first kiss isn’t frantic or desperate. (Although Clint will make up a different ridiculous story everytime someone asks.) They were both sitting down enjoying an episode of master chef, when Phila asks quietly if he could kiss Clint. Clint agrees and they kiss while Chef Ramsey screams in the background about uncooked rice. 

Meeting the parents - Clint takes Phil to his parent’s graves before they were even dating. Phil’s father left when he was younger but he takes Clint to visit his mother three weeks into their relationship. It was her birthday and Clint accidentaly scared her and she knocked him out with a frying pan. It’s a fond memory. 

Moving in together - Phil and Clint find a new apartment in the city to call home. They bought two apartments next to eachother and combined them into a larger one. Clint took over the kitchen, and Phil built them several cabinets, a tv stand, shelves, and a book case. Natasha bought them a lava lamp (it’s purple).

A crossover of my choice - If I had to have a crossover I would have to say either a Supernatural one (where they were both hunters) a True Blood one (I’m up for anything on this one) or a corssover with the X-Men. 

An au of my choice -FAIRY TALE AU! (I’m actually working on one right now.) 

If you like, another trope/scenario of your choice - I guess a cancer fic with a good ending. My cousin just cleared her five year mark and I love a good hurt/comfort.

I'm looking for a specific fic where Coulson isn't dead but he is in medical when he gets to see Natasha and Clint and Clint is uncomfortable with the situation and is sitting with his feet drawn up in the chair and its remarked that if he were truly unable to handle the situation he'd be up the vent which phil realizes he wouldn't be able to get him down and eventually Clint winds up asleep in the vent with his cheek pressed against the grate.

This has been out for assist already, but no one recognized it. :(  I’m sorry, Anon! I’m going to add it to our Cold Cases, and hopefully it’ll eventually be found. That does happen every now and then!

I read something like it recently on AO3; I think it was the same story where Clint demands to know why Natasha didn’t tell him sooner and she points out that his hands are shaking. Digging through my History was an exercize in frustration, unfortunately. Maybe you’d do better. :(
