I have decided that Clip is aroace, somewhere between indifferent and repulsed on the spectrum of both.

He’s mostly okay with romantic and more uncomfortable, but will tolerate some vague sexual references/behavior/media around him. Depending on his mood, he’s able to handle less of it before he politely asks whoever’s talking to stop or just leaves (depending on context and how able he is to escape in the moment).

But if someone says something about him in a romantic or sexual context, he’s going to immediately run away and probably go cry. Or if he has to stay for one reason or another, like an event or something, he’s going to avoid that person for the rest of the time he’s contained to the best of his ability, then leave as soon as he’s able.

I’m also imagining him and Emmy hanging out somewhere, and someone (probably someone older who doesn’t mean anything harmful) says they’re a cute couple. And while Emmy’s just laughing it off and sending this person away with the knowledge that they are just friends (maybe said a little louder than necessary), Clip just looks like he’s going to be sick. And begs to go home immediately after.

He then spends the next few weeks overthinking every behavior he shows towards his friends, both in public and in private, because he’s afraid of being mistaken for a couple again, or afraid it will make his friends uncomfortable. Which it wouldnt, they’re as fine with him cuddling them and generally being physically affectionate as they were before. But Clip is Clip and he’s going to overthink if it’s at all possible.

Actually. If Guardian Nova (or whichever of their kids winds up getting the power stuck to them. possibly all, I’ve had some thoughts for Hope) is seeing his parents in his dreams, would that happen to Clip and Emmy too.

I’m now imagining the clones “waking up” in this weird dreamscape and- WHO ARE YOU?! oh it’s Dream and Nightmare. Wait you’re supposed to be dead!

Just throw the guys at each other. I’m sure this is fine, especially since none of them have ever met before.

Emmy feels like the kind of person to just spread-eagle. She is taking up space and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Probably on her stomach? Since I can’t imagine lying on her wings is comfy.

Clip on the other hand is a teeny tiny ball. Every limb is tucked in as closely as he can get them, and he twitches/shifts frequently due to nightmares.

It is also not impossible to find them snuggled up together on one bed, limbs all tangled together. Usually after Clip’s had a particularly bad nightmare and he can’t fall asleep by himself.

I’m once again spinning alts of characters because of a Minecraft mod(pack)

This time my little* clones are getting some attention! Bad news it’s on a dead world where they have to try and bring it back to life.

Loose concept is that humanity screwed up Earthc(or whatever you’d call Minecraft’s overworld) via mining and generally not taking care of the environment. Now all that survives is hostile mobs… and these clones.

They were basically made as clones of scientists/people with valuable skills for the mission, and given a bunch of videos/files to catch them up on the situation. Unsure if they were raised by their genetic donors or creators or if they were just shoved in a spaceship and the computer managed their growth somehow so they'd be adults by the time they got there.

So now there’s a gaggle of guys on a dead world trying to figure out alchemy and magic that will fix the world, one little bit at a time.

They definitely don’t have words for anyone when they fix enough of the world for civilization to come back. Definitely not a “WHY THE FUCK DID YOU SEND BABY CLONES TO FIX YOUR BULLSHIT” in sight no sir! (Lies)

Role-wise, Parchment manages the group in general, and also is spearheading the alchemy bullshit. Definitely hasn’t started fires (don’t think you can ingame but she definitely can). She doesn’t like why they’re here, but if she can make the world work for her friends then it doesn’t matter. The rest of humanity coming back is a “bonus”

Emmy and Tune mostly manage the outside expeditions and security, and their expeditions are especially important in the first few weeks when the alchemy is still being experimented with and figured out.

Clip mostly manages farming once they have farmable soil. He doesn’t want to deal with the fighting or the alchemy, it scares him. So nice safe plants- WHY DOES THAT ONE SCREAM SO LOUD KILL IT KILL IT-(Mandrakes suck :') )

Virus is sort of just compiling what they know and organizing it so everyone can find what they need. Makes sure all of Parchment’s notes are legible, the maps make sense (please draw them accurately Emmy), and the plants Clip is crossbreeding are documented. They also just generally help around the base, and occasionally poke their head outside. If someone needs them to do something they'll gladly help, but they're sort of a jack-of-all-trades.

very random but imagine if Emmy, Clip, Parch, and Tune were all created in the h!DS clone AU by a totally different lab, and neither they nor the lab that made the Plusion kids (+ Patch and Vida) had any idea that the other existed

...well Emmy and Tune will have many things to say about the lab that made the Plusion kids. Mostly about how irresponsible/stupid they were to get the genetic samples mixed up.

Assuming the single-donor clones are older, Clip is very concerned for these children. Especially when like half of them are off committing murder. He's been there, and he doesn't want that to be happening to anyone else please.

Also he's probably freaking out that there's MORE LABS THAT DO THIS KIND OF SHIT!! WE ARE IN DANGER GUYS!!! Emmy will give him a hug and tell him it's okay.

Parchment is trying her best to acquire as many details as she can. Definitely not so she can add this new lab group to her list of people for "hunt these fuckers down yesterday."

Also Emmy just seeing the three kids with Delusion and going "absolutely the FUCK NOT!" and telling them alllll about how he's a bastard (whether they believe her or not she stands by her words)

there is a 25% chance she just. yoinks them. her children now.

Good idea? absolutely not. Her friends are losing their shit. but she isn't leaving them with Delusion of all people. That'd be crazy! They'd get so many bad ideas!!!

There's no way that ends badly for anyone (silly)

Oh god Emmy and Clip in the Hunted Spirits AU. I don't think guardians are capable of getting gray hairs (unless they screw shit up like Harrier or something) but Clip might manage to get some from the stress of the situation.

Don't know if they'd actually count as guardians for the sake of the AU, but they certainly look/feel (aura-wise) the part

And. Winding up with the other guardians would probably not settle his mind.

Emmy's so fascinated by the apples and what they can do. Do you think they'd do anything for her? Maybe she could actually fly if she ate some? OH YOU'RE DRAGONS??? CAN SHE BE A DRAGON!!!!!!! (note: do not let her become a dragon. She will somehow cause even more chaos than normal)

Also uh. Hope the other guardians are okay with the other clones coming along. Because there's no way Parchment is letting Emmy and Clip out of her sight with everything going on, Virus refuses to be separated from their girlfriend (and Emmy feels the same), and Tune's... here to be a gremlin I guess. 90% of Tune thoughts here are "she is present and is being her chaotic weird (affectionate) self. and probably pissing off people she shouldn't if someone isn't supervising her"

Okay so I threw the clones at Sunfall. Now the question is what happens when they're thrown at TRC

Does Harrier want to fuck with Emmy and Clip, weak as their auras are? I would assume yes, since from what I remember he has a no-tolerance negativity policy (with an exception for Nova/his alts, who are half-n-half, and especially for his own trying to "fix" him)

But he's also pissing off three assassins (former in Emmy's case, plus Virus) by trying to fuck with Clip. And Clip would fight if he had to, and is good at it. He might only do it if he has no choice, but he can.

Also I mostly just want Emmy and the others to just go on the warpath for Clip. Harrier is after their friend, which means he's picking a fight with all of them. It'd probably be best for them to join Vulture's Fall, but they might just run off and do their own thing.

Oh clip is definitely going to be hunted down. And they’re going to try to get Emmy on their side.

Emmy and Clip being so close, and looking so much like Harrier and his version of Nightmare, is definitely not going to make things worse because it’s reminding Harrier of when he and Nightmare were still friends and making the guilt of killing him start creeping back in and the only way he knows of to ‘cope’ is to push it out of the way and getting rid of whatever is making him feel like that :) why would you think that :))

If they find Vulture’s fall though Vellum is probably going to grab Clip by the back of his shirt and go “nah. You’re staying right here until we can get Harrier dealt with”

“But-“

“It’s for your own safety, dumbass. Come on.”

“B-but won’t Harrier track me here??”

“We’ve already got a couple of powerful corrupts here and Harrier still hasn’t found us. This is the safest place for you right now.”

But hey, VF now has a trained-from-birth spy (Virus) who will be happy to help get intel for them!
