Diggy liked to hang out in otherwise deserted areas. Nothing weird with enjoying the company of silence and peace in reasonable doses. The overpass had seemed like a good idea at first - low population, greyish industrial buildings with fencing to boot. It wasn’t that she was nosy, but call it a professionnal deformation, call it whatever, she just enjoyed looking at the flipside of places. The grey, dull buildings automated with robots.
At least she supposed they were mostly automated. It was a world where humans enjoyed full on gladiatorial fights for crying out loud - they couldn’t have that much to do with their time. So there she was, plodding away under the shadows of the overpass, enjoying the peace that was brought on by the non restricted - at least she supposed, and definitely not frequented locale. It was weird how human utilitarism could look so similar from one place to the next, she mused.
At least until she heard the growl. She slowly and purposefully turned around to look over her shoulder, watching the canine heavy unit plodding about, and giving her a very dirty glare. And giving her just as much of an auditory indication that she needed to leave.
“Oh, crapbaskets- Heyyyyyyyy, buddyyyy!” She lifted her arms up, before beginning to back away slowly, in a universal “I’m not here to catch that smoke” gesture. “Sorry, but y’all must have misplaced yer’ do not enter sign! Ah’ll get goin’ now, no need ta’ show me the door, ah’ can walk!”
