A way to help people understand what this is for garnet: pearl is like one of those people who are 'married' to their other straight same sex friends on Facebook. Shes like one of the people using the rainbow profile picture filter and then saying something lowery homophobic. Garnet physically is a relationship and pearl and amethyst are saying that fusing 'is nice because it makes us feel strong'
