I know this is joke on stan lee's part, but I legitimately would kill for slice of life stories about his heroes. By giving them such distinct personalities (and using the first five to ten pages of the comic as slice of life style filler), you almost make me desperately crave that normal real world stuff. I can't be the only one who's wanted this, can I? Because sometimes you want a break from the action. Sometimes you just need some soothing stories to take the edge off. If marvel or dc are still not realizing they could easily get back into the world of romance and humour comics by simply telling those stories with their superheroes, that's really a missed opportunity on their part.
