i tried out both Farever and Moonstone Island this weekend. thots:

Farever: really really solid start, currently very unbalanced but the core combat system is very fun. started on a priest, which is so OP as to be somewhat boring; gonna try warrior or rogue next. woefully limited character creator that i hope gets expanded upon. loaded with puzzles to do and things to find

Moonstone Island: need to play farther into it but i'm liking the pokemon elements so far, the aesthetics are great and the setting is very unique. lets you get right into the meat of the gameplay right away which is great. unfortunately what i've seen of the NPC cast has been absolutely sauceless as is common for harvest moonlikes, not really motivated to explore the relationship-building aspect at all
