My brother in law plays d&d, but he plays online, so for his 30th birthday I got my sister and his cousin in on a little conspiracy. Cousin (MVP) got me reference pics and ideas, sister passed them on, and I spent all my free time for 4 days painting this clockwork dragon his artificer has. Yes, the size is wrong (it's significantly too large) but I hope he likes it!

This mini was one of the oldest I had! A friend had given it to me badly primed wih bright red wings. I reprimed him, then he sat on my shelf for like 4 or 5 years. I was in a constant state of "I can only paint this super cool mini when I get good enough to give him the paint job he deserves!" Which, if you've ever been in this situation, is never going to happen...
So this week I just went for it.
Today, I finally finished him! I'm so so pleased with how he turned out!
(The mini is "Gear Wyrm" from Reaper Bones.)
