I keep imagining the Halloween ball being themed as Greek mythology and then the couples being
Winter and Autumn? Persephone and Hades of course. Winter is Persephone you can't tell me I'm wrong.
Mia and Char? Gods they have so many types they can be but I so want to go with Medusa x blind priestess or whatever because come on- Mia being a percieved monster that no one wants to look at or notice x Char, the embodiment of sweetness that often is overlooked and underappreciated and underestimated and just- just the way Char loves Mia for being there and seeing her when no one else did and Mia loves Char because Char sees the good in her despite how she acts/looks
Marjorie and Reece? I'll get blasted (I don't like Reece) but in this scenario I'd make them Hera and Zeus- the proverbial king and queen and I feel like it'd be Marjorie to pick Hera after a quick Google search of queen of gods and Reece would just go along because he doesn't care all that much about Greek mythology
Carly would totally go as Hermes. Little (scheming) messenger and all. Idk it fits her. Or Dionysus, the patron saint of gen Z.
Rodger would be Kronos because of course he would. Would that make Janice Gaïa? Because I feel like she wouldn't go for it. Maybe she'd go off script and show up as Juno (roman version of Hera) just to fuck with Marjorie but she feels very by the book so ionknow... Circe?
Clodagh and Sorscha would be Orpheus and Eurydice and you can pry them from my cold dead hands.
Siobhan and Vivian stump me because I have no idea who to type them as so I'd say they'd leave Jamie with Sarah and go celebrate their anniversary.
Chef going as Athena because she really likes her or something- we don't really have a god of cooking so...
And junior going as poseidon just to spite her? Definitely.
