Rhynchaglaea scitula Although it is a common species in winter, each individual has a tremendous variety of colouration. The flavor of the texture on this individual was so impressive. I have become fascinated not only by rare insects, but also by observing "ubiquitous" species as becoming an adult. I think this is largely due to the experience which I noticed the interesting behaviour of insects through using camera, and also what I learned from my experience as a nature guide.

チャマダラキリガ（茶斑切蛾） 冬の普通種だが、個体ごとにとんでもなく斑紋が多彩。この個体の質感の味わいはとてもよかった。 珍しい虫はもちろん、どこにでもいる種の観察にも大人になって魅かれるようになったのは、カメラを通じて虫の行動に目が向いたことと、ネイチャーガイドの経験で学んだことが大きい気がする。
