headcannons/random details in the clone AU

-obviously the DID system for Bryan

-Iris has a light country accent(because I imagine he’s from Texas(no reason I just think it’s funny)and I’m pretty sure it’s implied he’s from a small town) he mostly speaks with the accent of the area but if startled enough or he just woke up it’s pretty noticeable.

-Colin being enby and using he/her/they pronouns(i deadass looked at him in Dylan’s thumbnail and the gears in my head started working overtime)

-each of the headmasters refers to Bryan differently

fisherman: captain or sailor

ruin: bry or cat(occasionally goodie twoshoes but that’s more of when he’s mildly annoyed or trying to annoy Bryan)

nameless one: Bryan or puppet

April 8th: head of all things puppet or machine related

-Bryan knows Russian, he was taught some growing up with Mathew then relearned it later in life as he took interest. Ruin knows it as well and fish is learning Russian sign language.

-Dylan is now learning Russian after ruin said something to him in Russian that he’s pretty sure was a jab at them. He wants to level the playing field.

-Bryan’s last name is films, it’s what he changed it too and is not planning on changing it back to Divil(there’s a lot of paperwork involved)

-Bryan’s full name is Bryan Famous Films(BFF) (again no reason I just think it’s funny)

-traffic light trio are all partly Russian on their dads side.(I think that might be cannon, given Mathew and Markus’s accents. I just like to think they where raised in the America’s by immagrint parents speaking a lot of Russian)

-bryan is mostly sturcterly fine, -arm obviously, but his teeth are notably off having sharper teeth and a few of them are in different places then they should be, thankfully not enough to be an issue but it is a lil weird when you notice it.

-GC mildly terrified of Bryan because Bryan can easily lift him(GC is 9ft tall) and carry him around. Bryan has only done this once and that was to go brother Dylan about looking at GCs blueprints because he wanted to know how GC works

Sweet happy Lil Clip and extremely unhappy Eclipse who's not sure he'll ever smile or pull off any mischief ever again (he's not in a good headspace rn)

Clip gives Eclipse a big hug. He's a young child but wants this other guy to be happy

I am thinking a lot about that au where Cloud gets turned into a Sephiroth Clone but only physically.

This might be from several months ago and if that's the case I'm so sorry

But for those of you who are unfamiliar with this AU:

Zack is reluctantly added to the group after Cloud drags him in and shows that he's a Sephiroth clone. Angeal and Genesis wanted to keep this as secret as possible, but Cloud just points out if their biggest naysayer changes his mind that helps them, not harms. Zack is a damn good actor too, acts sheepish and ashamed when he goes around his usual circles and admits that Sephiroth reprimanded him and told him it was a lab thing that did something to his spine and it shouldn't have affected Zack's work so much. Even Kunsel buys it, which is saying something.

Zack and Cloud get along shockingly well. Sephiroth is jealous of how quickly they become friends, especially since it took over a year to become friends with Angeal and Genesis. He finally sighs off when Angeal points out that sometimes people just click. Sephiroth also has to admit that he's been the one benefitting the most from this since he's had more vacation than all four of them in years. He has been using his time wisely at least. He spent two days doing not much and then found himself working on hobbies he wasn't allowed to have. Baking is what he landed on and so far the treats have been fantastic. Genesis jokes that Sephiroth could one day own his own little shoppe. By the dreamy look in Seph's eye that was not as teasing as Genesis hoped it would be.

Cloud felt for a long time that Sephiroth mostly tolerated Cloud because it was wrong to turn him in and Sephiroth got time for himself. After 6 months of no change and "the plan" going along beautifully, Cloud received Sephiroth's "summons" down to the labs. It chills him to the bone, but he resigns himself to go. At least until Sephiroth sees it, the day of. Cloud never saw the man move so fast. He was dressed and in his old self in seconds. He physically picked Cloud up and put him on the couch. "I have to do this," Sephiroth said, "besides the chance that Hojo will figure out you're not me...I cannot let you go back down there. Never again. I won't let them do anything more to you, Cloud." Cloud finds himself crushed into a hug and teary eyed realizing that Sephiroth really did care quite a bit.

After the labs Sephiroth and Cloud work out a schedule on which one will be "working". Sephiroth should do most of the mission things, since they want the man himself and not a clone. Cloud finally admits he honestly likes the paperwork side of things. It's easy, makes sense and he has a mean wit that works well in boring meetings. He also likes keeping things organized more than he likes to admit. Sephiroth swears if Cloud gets changed back he has a standing offer as Sephiroth's Personal Assistant. "Half because you're very good at it, and half because I'm going to miss you terribly if you leave." Cloud admitted the same, for all four of them.

Their search to turn Cloud back goes into overdrive when Hojo lets slip at one of the lab appointments that the clone wasn't meant to live very long. None of them do.

"He was a pitiful one as well," Hojo said, "I mostly called the search to make sure he was euthanized cleanly in the end." Sephiroth is horrified. Cloud is petrified. Genesis and Angeal are devastated. Zack is skeptical. Cloud seems to be doing okay overall, but just in case, he offers some...outside assistance.

"Think the Turks want some dirt on Hojo?" he asks, "because I think Tseng might be willing to help if we got him something in return." They think it over for a while, but ultimately it's Cloud's decision.

"Do it," Cloud says, "I just want myself back."

Ok I have a KH:CoM rush and I’m thinking what if Repliku shenanigans but like with Red and no memory magic. Like clone Red trying to kick real Red’s ass to prove he’s the real deal. Oh and Ash is kidnapped cause of course he has to be, and C!Red is trying to be all romantic and visiting him whenever he can but Ash has no interest in entertaining him. while he’s waiting for the R!Red/figuring a way out himself. idk

Sonny’s* chest rises and falls quick. He doesn’t breathe like a person breathes, but like an animal breathes. Constantly ready to move, to run, to fight. Always on the defensive, even as Nick lays with him and feels the angles of his jaw because it’s one of the handful of things that are just like the real Sonny, the one Nick wants home. But then Sonny* starts stroking Nick’s hair like the real one would do. 

“Enough,” Nick snaps, and pulls away. This isn’t his Sonny. “Don’t do that.”

It seems like Sonny* wants to argue, but he doesn’t have the words. Another reason he’s not the real thing. Nick actually gets up out of bed now, leaves Sonny* laying there upset and confused and still breathing so hard.

“Don’t,” Sonny* says, and he sounds so sad.

“Don’t what?”

He makes a frustrated noise and reaches for Nick, curls a hand around his wrist tightly. “Don’t.”

Still, he doesn’t let go of his arm, and in fact tries to pull Nick back down to bed. He must be touch starved, Nick realizes a little late, if he’s anything like Sonny. Sonny thrives on physical contact, and someone like this, someone like Sonny,* might still need that but be unable to have it or communicate that.

“You need to be held?” he says, a little impatiently.

“Need,” Sonny* answers.

Nick wants to help him. But it still hurts too much. And he pulls away.
