i tried to only count each clone once, although if their appearance changed i added to the stats.

*eye color was the most difficult quality for me to count, because it depends so heavily on the lighting of the scene. i'm pretty confident about those 6, but there might have been more i missed or wasnt sure on.

*i only counted armor modifications that seemed to be purely decorative. equipment that has a practical function, such as cody's visor and antennae or the cold-weather armor mods, did not go into the tally.

*for this category, i excluded abstract designs like appo's arrows or waxer and boil's stripes. i also excluded the Republic symbol that appears on every pilot's flight helmet. i was looking for armor paint that a trooper would've added by choice as a decoration. for example, rex's jaig eyes, jesse's republic helmet, the wolfpack symbol, or the bad batch skull.
finally, the standard clone count. i kept a tally of every helmetless clone who looked to have the totally standard appearance and armor. i tried not to count vode twice, which made it extra difficult to count bridge crews.
also - in the early seasons, the standard clone model was also a practical measure out-of-universe. i dont think this number is necessarily indicative of standard model clones in-universe.

bonus - commanding officers!
i wanted to see if higher-ranking clones were less likely to modify their appearances. in each per-season post, i listed named clones and bolded the names of commanding officers - sergeants, lieutenants, captains, and commanders.
there were 28 COs in total.
of those, 11 never remove their helmets
of the 17 who's faces we can see, 3 are standard (not counting their armor, because most of them wore kama)
15 are non-standard, but 3 of those are from scars or graying hair, which im assuming was not intentional
12 of them made intentional changes to their appearances.
of those 12, only 5 clones did anything special to set themselves apart: bly, stone, jesse, and hunter had face tattoos, and keeli shaved designs into his hair.
the other 7 were only nonstandard in terms of their hair cut or color.\
so! it seems that my theory of high-ranking clones avoiding flashy modifications was defeated by a much older theory - important characters should stand out visually!

sooo the format of this post is gonna be a little simplified from the previous ones, because we only had four new clones this season!

marshal commander neyo also made his first appearance, although he was only shown in armor. his armor has the symbol of the 91st Mobile Recon Corps painted on it several times.
there's a TCW style render of his face on the Wookiepedia, but since it wasn't shown in the episode i wont be adding these numbers to the count. Neyo has a nonstandard cut and his hair appears to be greying; he has his CC number (CC-8826) tattooed in green on his cheek.
captain hound is only shown in armor. he wears a kama (as does the other K9 trooper), and has a massif painted on his pauldron.
oddball was named, but was only shown in armor.
also - Wolffe shows up again, and I swear to god his hair is shorter than it was in his last appearance.
